I hope they let the Nigerian off the hook, they are desperate job seekers . I was talking to a friend who was recruited last week by this company . Today she telling me about this news that their other office was bursted by EFCC, she only heard about it from someone that has been working there before she was hired last week . Two days ago, they asked all the workers to go because they want to renovate the whole building and they we call them back soon. Trust me, these people were all desperate Nigerians seeking jobs. My friend was still under going training, from what she said, no clear definition of her position.
I was actually really happy for her when she told the money they offer to pay when she got the job last week. They were going to pay 200k monthly with opportunities for bonuses.
really guy nobody should be left off anything. They know what and who they are working for, if this is kidnapping and ritual will say they should be left off too, they all should face the music

Knowing how incompetent Nigerian intelligence agencies are, I won't be surprised if this was a bungled operation and that this is a legit establishment.

The EFCC wants me to believe that some daredevil Chinese left China to establish a HK in Nigeria.

They didn't go to Ukraine or North Korea, or Philippines where there are badass hackers; they chose Nigeria with no electricity, shitty Internet, and semi-illiterate citizenry?

No way!!!,

I want to hear from the arrested foreign nationals before I believe this cock and bull story
oga we are the tech hub of Africa.... Anything tech in Africa, u think Naija first.....dis type of establishment is scattered accross india

Seize their phones, freeze their bank accounts and take all the funds there and take them and all their family members in Nigeria, straight to the airport to be fingerprinted and put on airplanes straight back to their countries of origin with warning that if they come back to Nigeria and are caught, they will face death penalty. The insult on Nigeria’s reputation is too much.

Also get their house addresses and seize all property there and auction including houses owned. Let them walk back into their country with only their clothes.

And u wonder why scammers keep calling every other time. This number is on the high side ooo.imagine just a quarter of them securing a bank job, it will be a disaster to the citizens
If you read the news from Beginning to the end you will realize that they only allow those Nigerians to know about registration fee to access their YOOTO platform so those Nigerian guys will definitely be freed after trial as long as the foreigners confess that those Nigerians truly applied for a perceived good job which later turn to something else

An acquaintance actually told me about these guys last month. He was acting too smart for them, and according to him, their disagreement started when they wouldn't give him employment letter and also wanting him to do face verification on a linkedin account with its location in California, US..... so they had to tell him to go after paying him for the few days he worked with them cos they felt he might bring them trouble. He said lots of boys knew the risk of their real identity being used to commit crime but they don't care cos the Chinese guys running the place was putting them on a starting salary of #200k and if you are good enough, they promote you to where you will be earning around #500k. For the few days he worked with them, he said he was working with like 5 different iPhones at a time for bombing work..... he said even the Chinese guys controlling the HK dare not go back to China cos their govt will kill them for committing crime, that they are already on wanted list in China...... omo d guy told me plenty things o

This is so disrespectful and I am glad they have been bursted finally.
Thanks for this information.

So this was why EFCC blocked off the entire Oyin Jolayemi street last week ( I can’t remember if it was Monday or Tuesday ) ?

It was a complete mess that day , they caused a massive traffic for every law abiding Nigerians that day around office closing hours . Anybody in V.I that day would remember how terrible the traffic was and how people were stranded .

I really don’t understand why our security agencies must create one problem while trying to solve another one. They literally prevented anybody from accessing Oyin Jolayemi street with a vehicle by parking vans at the beginning of the street and had to force everybody to pass alternative routes that were quite narrow and overflowing traffic .
It's a global practice.
Stop being ignorant.
would you have preferred if innocent people had gotten mixed with this criminals and you had happened to be one of the innocent persons?

Would you have prefered if some of those boys were armed and they came out blazing and you get hit by a stray bullet?
Una go just dey fault agencies even when they are doing good job

Stop projecting ur nonsense logic on others .

The people arrested are camped inside one single building . All EFCC did was match them down from upstairs to their bus parked downstairs .

That does not warrant locking down a whole street that is a major road that is vital to the road network in the whole VI.

Some of u just talk trash to defend government agencies and their excesses . I’m sure if ur relative was in an ambulance on the way to receive an emergency treatment due to the traffic that spiraled from the unnecessary road block , u won’t be saying this .

I’m not surprised tho, when Nigerians are not affected by act of government and its agencies they will be willing to offer their blood to defend every nonsense the government agency does .

PS : Nowhere did I ever say EFCC was wrong in effecting the arrests , it is the brazen manner in which they threw the whole VI axis into traffic gridlock that should be condemned

SMH.

So it takes a whole street to be blocked to arrest unharmed individuals camped into one building off a street with several buildings?

It is well with u and whatever agenda u are pushing .
Guy, just shut up. Talk no dey your mouth.
How were you sure they were unarmed? Or you're one of their collaborators?

When they went to raid the Chinese in Abuja, they discovered armed escorts at the house of the Chinese.

When they went to arrest some idiotic fraudsters in Abeokuta, these idiots called soldiers to fire on the Efcc guys, telling them the Efcc guys were robbers.

You cordon off to easily identify yourself to those around and as well restrict movement.

The Efcc did a good job and your complaints are ranting and nags are nonsensical.

It won’t be the original website. They create a phishing site (clone of the actual website) and unsuspecting victims would input his card details when buying things. With thst, they can easily clear the account

It's an old scam, surprised you are ignorant of it.
But even if they get the card details , I think they will be needing an OTP even if they want to initiate any transaction with the details

U are the one who should shut that gutter u called mouth .

There’s no justification for causing discomfort to thousands of road users who have legitimate business to attend to simply because u want to arrest hundreds of fraudsters .

It’s people like u that support EFCC when they break into people’s apartment on mere suspicion because they live inside an estate . You should care about law enforcement agents’ procedures and not just the result alone .

I’m not giving anything to them.

If u know the street , u will know blocking off the street was totally unnecessary. The people they arrested are inside just one building ; all they needed was march them down from the building to their vehicles parked beside the building .

Blocking off the entire street and preventing other road users from using the road makes absolute no sense during closing hours . That singular act caused serious spiraling traffic all over V.I that day .

They can effect the arrests without creating a scene .
Please shut up
