I don't belong to PDP but I have met several PDP members who claimed there was indeed zoning in the party constitution!
I had even seen part of such constitution!
This was partly the reason why the same Atiku and other governors left PDP to form npdp in 2013 which later evolved into apc with other parties joining!
If Atiku left PDP because of zoning why is he insisting on contesting when it's obvious that Buhari had done 2 terms and the next leader of Nigeria will definitely come from the South for the purpose of equity?

I don't belong to PDP but I have met several PDP members who claimed there was indeed zoning in the party constitution!
I had even seen part of such constitution!
This was partly the reason why the same Atiku and other governors left PDP to form npdp in 2013 which later evolved into apc with other parties joining!
If Atiku left PDP because of zoning why is he insisting on contesting when it's obvious that Buhari had done 2 terms and the next leader of Nigeria will definitely come from the South for the purpose of equity?
No problem....He can contest even in his 90s as he so wishes!

He is not the only beautiful bride in the South East.

Buhari, Nana Akufo Ado and others would have contested again and again if they had not won..

Atiku Abubakar suggested to the PDP NEC and the BOT that the Presidential ticket should be micro zoned to the South East and not just the South South because that is the region in the south that is yet to produce a President...

Nyesom Wike and his gang kicked against it because they knew Atiku was suggesting that because of Peter Obi.

They came up with the idea that the ticket should be thrown open to all because Wike was very confident that he would defeat any opponent on Primary day...

It was the same Wike that frustrated Peter Obi out the PDP when he saw that Obi was beginning to gather momentum..

It is on record that he went to the Anambra State chapter of the PDP then and bad-mouthed Peter Obi

He divided the state chapter, thus Obi had to leave the party for him.

The rest is history today.

If the PDP does not micro zone the ticket this time around to the South East then they should get ready to throw it open and we will win the ticket again..
