What made her think she even stood a chance against such person in the first place, and that finished man wey first collect bullet for am… i have no words for him
The gee na premium mumu.....

I would have been ultra pissed off if the showrunnners somehow made the Jackal lose or captured by them. Person wey dey go other people turf and off them, them come him turf, threaten him own family and thought he won't be brutal??

The Jackal has had a couple times to K!ll Bianca but didn't. He just wasn't too interested in her and probably liked the Cat and Mouse chase.
And I'm sure the upper echelons of the Intelligence Community knows who the Jackal is to some extent. Reason for the multiple cover ups.

And Charles Dance character is a pompous and arrogant billionaire who thinks he's untouchable.

As for Bianca, it was a satisfying end for me. She's been surrounded by too much plot armour for my liking making her survive all this while and still working despite the number of bodies she's piled up in her mission.

I also think UDC lover is part of the people who wants him de@d. Cos man wouldn't have gone for that swim that fateful day and he was very fidgety like he's under pressure. Some of his dialogue is suspicious especially the one where he said: "UDC will have to be the one to launch River, and he must be alive to do it."

"Seven Doors" 2024

Not exactly a home run, but I appreciate the effort....

The opening scene is a testament to the high production value this movie boasts visually stunning and terrifying in a way that keeps you glued to your seat.

It tells the story of Adèdunjoyè and Amaka: their love, his rise to kingship, and an unexpected cultural atonement that weighs heavily on his reign due to the sins of his forefathers. But the story is far from simple. There are numerous subplots that initially seem to spiral out of the writers' control. However, they manage to rein them in, merge them with the main plot, and deliver a solid ending.

If Yoruba lore is your thing, this film is the epitome of it, a cultural showcase brimming with swagger, razzmatazz, and mythical allure.

I began this review by highlighting the production value because that’s where the movie truly shines. Everything looks crisp and clean, with just the right color grading. However, the cinematography could have been better. There were shots the production was clearly capable of but failed to make immersive enough, which dampened the experience. Another flaw is the lack of clarity regarding the period in which the movie is set. The film mixes props from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, creating some confusion. That said, the props themselves are impressive, I saw pristine '70s and '80s cars and couldn’t help but wonder where they found them!

One of the standout elements is the film’s portrayal of unity between the Yorubas and Igbos, especially at a time when the tribal divide feels so wide. Chioma Chukwuka plays a pivotal role in this unity narrative, delivering a fantastic performance as the Olori. Her ability to speak both Yoruba and Igbo effortlessly was nothing short of brilliant.

There’s more to admire than criticize here. If you’re a fan of Nollywood and the strides it’s been making since Netflix set up shop in Nigeria, you’ll probably enjoy this. I certainly did.

Is this Nollywood praise I see??

Seems I'm gonna cop this one out this night. Since my pops been complaining they bored of my Hollywood content since they got this smart TV. 😅

Is it R rated or kid friendly cos kids them kids will most likely see this?? I find it easy to watch Nollywood content with people than alone (which is almost impossible).

A long but marvellous watch!!!!.

I felt so relieved and delighted to find this to be a wonderful adaptation of the original novel.

Quite engaging and the performances were top notch 👌

Dune:

Lila played a much better Mother Raquella than her own character. What's exactly is stopping Jen from participating in the shared nightmares?

On a norm sha, when a man is in love, na foam he be for woman hand, to squeeze as she likes. See as Emperor fall forget his original family.

I don't understand Nez and her mother's anger? Who were they expecting to head the fleet before? Surely it can't be Desmond Hart na, as he already has his own elite fleet. While I believe the jump from nonentity to commander of the fleet is a farcry, I don't get the anger.

Also how is Nez able to use TruthSense when she hasn't gone to the school yet? Person won kill your family, na love dey worry your head.

So Tula do born throway too.

That surviving Harkonnen, Las Las na Mother Suprerior go kill am.

Edited: Just seeing that there is one more episode of Dune left. Hmmm, plenty things go too happen

Personally i don’t classify her as hot.. No above average bo0bs & No bumbum, so what exactly makes her hot?! with that her Patience Ozokwor looking face

The Zina herself is a 3/10 in looks & all..

The Jackal is a Hit show this year for sure but what it doesn’t have are Hot women and that’s for a fact compared to other shows that made waves this year

Omo..... I wouldn't really even care much if not for this tërrorist of a kid who has been repeating LIGHTYEAR & THE WILD ROBOT back to back for 4 days now once he's in control of the remote.

This little fvvker repeated Shaolin Soccer on loop about two years ago more than 120 times for weeks. I almost lost my mind seeing him watching it all the time. This boy repeat that film so tey the disc begin crack sef for the DVD. Cos I bought that film disc many years ago while I was still a kid and about to enter secondary school. Don't understand his obsession and fixation with that particular movie.
