This is very good, how on earth we will be voluntarily enslaving ourselves to the western world. I hope there will be heavy penalty for anyone or institutions that flouted this bill when it becomes law.

I hope our lawmakers will not be the lawbreakers of this bill when it eventually becomes law.

Correct.

Some Colonial slave establishments such as schools and Malls insist on charging in USD.

The politicians should also remember to ban themselves from using Dollars to bribe delegates during political party conventions.
grin

It makes it easier for them than the old Ghana-Must-Go bag grin

How can you be working in Nigeria and you are earning in dollars?
How can a supermarket in Nigeria has it's goods price tagged in dollars?
This is insanity

That's how Tinubu & Cardoso said EFEMS was bringing down the dollar to N50.

What happened?
Has it malfunctioned or is Tinubu waiting for Emeka Singapore & Dozie Hong Kong to reduce it further?

Trial and error government of clueless thieves
The elite are introducing policies that will affect them, and you're angry. Please are you using dollar cash?

What’s the relative strength of the currencies you mentioned in the international market. We often look for quick fixes in this country, which can backfire. Banning foreign exchange here might give the naira a temporary boost, but it risks creating a long-term shortage (especially in the parallel market), leading to significant depreciation later on. You can take this prediction to the Bank. We should have learned from the Buhari era that outright bans rarely work. His decision to ban 41 items for forex only pushed people to the black market which was the origin of this volatility mess we are in. Ease of access to forex is what will stabilize its value, not restrictive policies that creates scarcity. Poor policies will ruin this country….
