Omo..... I wouldn't really even care much if not for this tërrorist of a kid who has been repeating LIGHTYEAR & THE WILD ROBOT back to back for 4 days now once he's in control of the remote.

This little fvvker repeated Shaolin Soccer on loop about two years ago more than 120 times for weeks. I almost lost my mind seeing him watching it all the time. This boy repeat that film so tey the disc begin crack sef for the DVD. Cos I bought that film disc many years ago while I was still a kid and about to enter secondary school. Don't understand his obsession and fixation with that particular movie.

If it was only The Wild Robot he was repeating I wouldn't mind. Every time I see it, it still looks fresh and pristine in my eyes. Top tier movie and animation.
But that Lightyear pisses me off. Something wey I don download for 2 yrs now. Him watching it now has confirmed I'm not watching it myself no more.

Children of these days are smart as fvvk oo. These ones can operate anything digital with ease especially if it's pictorial.
They gave me a shocker last week. Brand new smart TV and I bought flash for them and put a couple movies, only that day I navigated the menu.
Me was thinking it'll take them about 3 days or so to fully understand the process cos it had many steps to get to where the films was cos the new TV menu is quite very different from the what they used to.... Came back from work the next day to see them operating and changing films at will. I begin dey doubt whether while I was at his age I could be this smart.

The only reason dem never get mind operate my laptop na cos dem know say I go kill dem and majorly use it for work. Rarely watch stuff on it even tho the screen is pretty good and they know tons of movies and TV shows are in it. I'm in the mood for generosity if dem see my laptop take watch film.

I avoided this show before because I thought it was some "girl power girl boss" nonsense...

But the title is quite misleading..

It's a real solid show...
They didn't make the female lead some kind of superhuman girlboss...

The male characters were not useless at all...in fact they were more experienced on the field...

Veterans actually had their moments to show why they were Veterans...

Bruh these kids brain development in relation to tech and devices is too sharp and way ahead of our time. They're very tech adaptive.

The eldest boy na olodo in my books based on my intelligence in academics while his age but anything relating to games, devices, phone and this dude floors me. Too smart on those things. I changed my phone pattern password tire till I got tired and started hiding my expl!cit files then totally stopped making my phone readily available to have a chance of even operating it.
That kid gave me nightmares when he was with my phone. I go dey pray make the P£st no see my Bella Bellz and Ava Adams collection.

Make 10yrs old pikin dey beat me conveniently for draft game. 😤 I need to be ultra calculative and slow to be able to beat him. Play fast paced and I'm losing 90% of the time.
The kid is too good with strategy and patterns.

Don't underestimate kids!! They are smarter than our time.

You might actually have a neurodivergent genius on your hands. If he's proficient at draft but failing at school, it's most likely because he finds it difficult to pay attention during classes due to a lack of motivation. If possible, gamify his school work and he'd most likely stary doing better.

Me i won't say smart sha, cause we throw around that word alot. Kids now just have more access to Technology than we did, If you don't have access to it you won't be able to use it. I was privilege to have had access to a PC at a young age. A lot of my peers think i am smart, Nope (although i am but) i just have had a PC longer than most and wanted to learn so curiosity made me learn. My Sis had same access to that PC but she wasn't interested she still is one of the smartest people i know. Funny thing is while i was still learning how to you MS office application one of my classmates was already coding , this life eh. But yeah that's how i see it.

Cos this boy actually creates or draws the draft game himself. Anything like games he's good but his academics is surprising.
Loves games and obsessed with cartoons.
Like you said I think his attention span is the problem, dude can't stay put in one place unless it's cartoons or games. It's like you're caging him.
I have rarely seen him reading on his own without it being an homework. I hardly see him do homework sef, but I can remember seeing his other siblings being different.
Academically, he's the weakest in the family but I do know he's actually smart based on games and other behavioural patterns.

Thinks he lacks motivation unless forced to.

His parents should try gamifying his schoolwork, using the cartoons and games he likes as a reward. His academics will definitely see an improvement.

I have finished it. The part 1 was much more interesting than part 2. There wasn't any episode that really stood out to me for the part 2.

But I thoroughly enjoyed majority of the episodes in the part 1

I am not a fan of short stories but I enjoyed Love, Death and Robots.

For Secret Level, I've found it just okay so far...
Way way below LDR tho...

I don't think I'll be watching part 2 tho because I haven't really enjoyed part 1 so far, it's just decent for me.
And I keep hearing part 2 isn't even as good as Part 1 that I didn't enjoy
