And when we South Africans speak against it, you guys label us xenophobic... Basotho people from Lesotho get deported all the time for committing crimes in SA, but you'll never or hardly hear them accusing SA of xenophobia, ask yourself why.

But my comment sounded like a joke which was the actual intent .. like I said earlier, the situation between both countries is basically just for fun these days .. It's not even a nairaland thing, you go on FB, Twitter it's the same...

There was even an e-hailing situation in which rides would be booked and then cancelled when the driver gets to the destination for pick up . Guess who started that??


If you guys would generalise and label all Nigerians drug dealers/scammers then it's only right all South Africans are labeled xenophobic..

Those people were illegal immigrants that South Africans have been complaining about for a very long time, but no one listened until South Africans took matters into their own hands... They were going after illegal migrants and not necessarily Nigerians only, not everything is always about you guys.

Well, a good number of those bolt drivers are from our neighbouring countries and some are from West Africa as well, it's not only South Africans... So you guys wasted your time retaliating because a lot of foreign nationals who came to SA to hustle legally were also affected.

Your last statement sounds childish, but okay... And keep in mind that generalizing all black South Africans as xenophobic will only continue to make your people's lives difficult here in SA.
