At least we are hearing what is going on which is notpissible during that failure called Buhari.
The Buhari that T-Pain alone made president and reinforced the failure with Yoruba votes in 2019 to earn his own ebilokan turn at continuing their APC shege last year?
Abi you get another Buhari for mind ni huh

Emergingnation:
Flashback: How Bola Tinubu spoke highly of Buhari in 2015, named PDP ‘Poverty Development Party

National leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu had during the presidential campaign in 2015, referred to President Muhammadu Buhari as the only solution for the security and economic challenges facing Nigeria.

During a mega presidential rally, the former governor of Lagos State recalled how some powerful nations in the world returned to army generals when they were challenged, saying “Major General Buhari would revive Nigeria’s economy”.

He named the current opposition People’s Democratic Party, PDP as the “Poverty Development Party saying they had nothing to offer.

His words at the time were; “Every nation has a period of their own challenges, when America was challenged, they turned to one great man, their ex-military general, General Eisenhower. When the French were challenged, they turned to their general, Charles de Gaulle.

“When Britain was challenged, they turned to their general. Today, Nigeria is economically and physically challenged so we turn to General Muhammadu Buhari. He is the right man for the job. If you talk about military experience, he has it abundantly, he has courage, simplicity, he has it abundantly.

“If you talk about great determination, a combination of vision and ability to perform, honesty and integrity, he has it abundantly.

“I laugh when the incapable government, ‘Poverty Development Party’ PDP were talking. They have nothing again to say, they now want to question the qualifications of General Buhari and look for his certificate”.

Following the manifestos in 2015 which projected the APC presidential candidate as a ‘saviour’, Buhari defeated the then incumbent president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan with Nigerians expecting a total change in security and economy.

Why do we ALLOW the wrong people to be in power over us huh
Religion and tribalism...that's the reason. The average Nigerian would rather die in abject poverty and hunger than to vote out his tribesman for glaring incompetence.

He added, “Today, all the VAT paid by MTN is credited and attributed to Lagos State, even as calls are made in Kano, the FCT, Ekiti, Edo, or Kebbi.”

Are you not missing his point of whether Lagos callers/receivers are the only ones who generate revenue for MTN, since MTN is headquartered in Lagos huh
It's easy to pay each state as much as they consumed via geo location.
What will happened is that MTN or any other company will pay their VAT based on consumers location

Waste of management resources as usual continues. Can NIGERIA manage resources for productivity? No but for sharing tiers of governance and selfish infrastructure. But NO human development.

diverseconcepts:
they make 4X weekly so no big deal
Multiply 200billion monthly by 12 making 2.4 trillion a year as VAT from MTN alone .

VAT in Nigeria from all the Telecoms, oil and gas revenues, other industries VAT plus individuals tax and transportation revenues, market revenues and general taxes in this country is enough for the government to do massive projects but embezzlements and corruption will make them to seek loans that they will loot in dollars into their personal accounts

Lagos State, which currently retains the full N200bn, would see its share reduced to approximately 20 per cent

Did he just say Lagos alone retains the full N200bn when we know the money is shared to all states of the federation?

This Oyedele is a terrible lier. The guy can tell any lie just to sell the tax reform bill

Don't mind him,the man is just clever by half, the present sharing formular is 50 by equality,30 by population and 20 by derivation but you change it to equality 20%, population 20% and derivation 60% so you buy corn from the north without VAT and make it Cornflakes in the South and consumed in the South the South take the VAT,the same with Rice, beans, yam, guinea corn , tomatoes etc you drill oil from Niger delta and return the VAT to Niger Delta under new tax reform but will take food from the North and give the VAT to the South.more so Dangote is the highest Tax payer in Nigeria

Weldone, they should pay to FG so that they would enrich themselves. The ones they have been taking, what have they been doing with them?

MTN knows where each customer is coming from so they pay to each state depending on the consumption/sales they make in each state

Which kind grammar be this nah! Lagos VAT reduces to 20% or by 20%.

If it reduces to 20%, it means Lagos VAT is now N40billion; if it's by 20%, it's N160 billion now as opposed to N200billion.

If we had a transparent government we would have no business borrowing up and down like almajari. Cos the billions the government name from multinational companies in vat plus proceedings from fuel subsidy removal, multiple taxation, exportation...etc.

This country isn't supposed to be poor. We just have the wrong people in power.
Too greedy

You reading is not your problem.
it is your understanding.
Lagos doesn't take the entire N200
plus it is the FG that through the FIRS that collects VAT. A percentage of that VAT is redistributed to the states....

So you saying the FG should collect VAT and also saying Lagos should not take the entire money is ignorant, because Lagos doesn't take the entire money but percentage....

FYI you are still ignorant
