No you are wrong.

The news should read
Nigerians using Facebook AD, and Google Ad etc Pays FG 3.85Trillion

We pays the VAT, not Facebook.

For instance, I myself pay Over N100 VAT for every 2k Facebook Ad. Not to mention the millions of businesses using all the social media Paid Ads Daily. Over 80% which are small Businesses

You are robbing small business to feed others, which is why we are where we are today as a country

You are quite right! The taxes all these social media platforms are paying the federal government are indirectly coming from Nigerians using the platforms/handles

Unfortunately, this current federal government keeps collecting taxes here and there, taxing everything taxable and daily putting burdens on Nigerians without using the taxes to improve the welfare of the masses.
The money shared by FAAC monthly to all state is what? When they say you should hold your state government accountable, you think sat na joke. They're putting tax burden indirectly on you? Are these platforms not paying tax to governments in other countries of the world? Some of you are just ignorant reasons you spill some unreasonable words at times.

All these monies here and there, the ones saved from subsidy removal, the jacking up of taxes everywhere yet FG is still borrowing left and right.
What is going on

Which government? Ekpa government of Biafra, right? This is the question you should have directed to ekpa first on what he used donations from igbos to do in Biafra land as prime minister because he never built new Biafra schools, he never sponsors Biafran education and he never supported small businesses. He only collects donations from igbos to kill igbos. Ekpa doesn't know anything about financial transparency and accountability. After you asked ekpa, your immediate prime minister; come back to ask Tinubu also

You people are just wicked and annoyingly ignorant. Facebook,YouTube....have been operating in Nigeria since forever and no govt has collected tax. Meanwhile these companies are paying the same taxes to other countries. BAT has done it now and all you could see is negativity! Shame on you!
It is why I know that you don't love Nigeria, only your parochial interest matters to you!
CIT is the major component of the remitted figure and I'm super happy that Nigeria gets what's rightfully hers.
Yes the citizens pay the VAT portion.....so the citizens should support the VAT bill and task their governors more from the increased revenue!

If I get you well, government shouldn't collect tax? Before you answer, go and research the tax rate of some of your SANE COUNTRIES.

Kindly note that the 3Tr did not come from increased taxe rates nor a new legislation! It's just "free" money that has been lying there, waiting for collection but that other leaders never paid attention to.
Above point is for the anti-revenue generation gang! Just encouraging lazy leaders and inefficiency everywhere!

Taxation is normal in every country.

In Nigeria, it's a business for politicians.

Kudos to Buhari for pushing these companies to start paying taxes. I am not sure if they have started paying content creators. They are making a ton of money from Nigerians, they need to pay us as well.

It's impressive to see foreign companies like Google and Facebook contributing significantly to Nigeria's economy through taxes. This shows the growing influence of digital businesses in our country and how they are being held accountable to local tax regulations. top smm seller

Those monies should go to the states where the internet users generating those monies reside. We can’t have Haram and they will be eating our internet money. Parasites everywhere. Once we get rid of the deadweights we can enjoy more money.
