How can a whole nation of people be so blinded by materialism that they see nothing wrong in baby factory endeavours?


I really thank God for many things in my life but one of the greatest things God did for me is not making me be a part of these people.

Al Jazeera did an investigative report on this baby factory thing and it's far worse than you can imagine.

They have gone beyond luring young teenage girls who get pregnant outside wedlock to sell their babies at birth to now luring young girls and women from IDP camps in the NE over phantom jobs from where the girls are kidnapped and serially raped until the day they get pregnant and deliver. The young girls are then thrown out and the babies sold.

There's no evil more wicked than this baby factory of a thing and only a very evil people will accept it as just another venture.

BBC is not demonizing Nigeria even up to 1/10 of how Nigerians demonize the c0untry.

My point here is that hitherto, I was like you, shouting the ills of my country up and down. We had a discussion and she showed me the serious corruption in their system and asked if these are headliners. Every country has problems but when you advertise yours rather than dealing with it, you make a mess of yourself as Davido did to himself.

Bro, don't get me wrong, I can never condone the ineptitude and corruption prevailing in our current system. What I don't agree with is the thinking that by shouting it to the whole world, there will be solution. Nobody has provided an empirical evidence to show anywhere in the world where insulting and calling your Country names have solved such problems.
The solutions are in our hands, we need to hold our leaders accountable, we need to stop selling our votes to the highest bidders, let's make bad governance have consequences. It's in our hands, and not out there.
