President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State for this year’s Christmas and New Year holidays.

Tinubu arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, at exactly 3:23 pm on Wednesday.

Before departing Abuja, the President presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly for consideration and passage.

According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President was welcomed by the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; deputy governor, Obafemi Hamzat, and cabinet members at the airport.

It read, “President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays.

“Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the deputy governor, Obafemi Hamzat, and cabinet members received the President at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport.

“Before his departure to Lagos, President Tinubu presented the 2025 budget, totalling N47.9trn, before a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja.”

The president is a hardworking man who truly deserves to take a break, he needs all the rest in the world so he can continue from where he stopped when he resumes in January 2025. It's not easy to make the price of beans exceed that of rice, that was no easy feat — this is something I never believed was possible. How stupid!
