They probably left because of poor remuneration and conditions of service.. The work load on them over stretched their elastic limits, beyond the maximum load which exceeds the breaking point. So they chickened out.

studied Library and Information Science but I'm teaching Computer Studies and Data Processing cos I have a good background in ICT.

Bruh, it depends on your location, if you're in Lagos, you can earn more with your good background in ICT.

Good schools in Lagos no longer advertise vacancies,
It's now through referral,
They just organize interviews with randomly selected cvs, when they already have a candidate of choice

Nobody should teach again, all degree holders, if you can stop teaching, and leave it for school cert holders, these criminals will fold up in business

Teaching is a sure way to poverty for graduates run from that slavery

It's depends on the environment you find yourself.. Lekki-Ajah axis is cool for teaching. You will make it plus extra lessons if you teach science based subjects
