For the topic of the banner; I will tell you that the person or group of persons that posted that banner there knows why he did so.

The motive behind that was to mock other religion that believes that Jesus is God.

Before the banner was posted there he must have consulted all the learned people in the mosque for approval.

When I was in Ile Keu, we always say Jesus is not God and he is just one of the prophet and use alayhi wa’salam for him.

However, there was this period the saying led to a fight among my Christian friend at the football field when we were young. Na that time I first consciously know say Christians could take offense even for if they something in Muslim Quran. So I just respect them from that time.
