The banner contravened Islamic doctrine. Which says don't abuse other peoples religion nor gods.

Had it been the says Isa (AWS) is not God but only a Prophet and Messenger of God. It would have been within what the Qur'an says.

Only a handful of Christians know this truth about the Koran. The writers of the Koran took the Bible and began copying what suited them. They inserted their own falsehood, turned Hebrew names to Arabic. In addition they created one hero in Mohammed so it could match the Christian narrative of a savior, as well as resemble the Bible template of a religious book. cheesy

When I was in Ile Keu, we always say Jesus is not God and he is just one of the prophet and use alayhi wa’salam for him.

However, there was this period the saying led to a fight among my Christian friend at the football field when we were young. Na that time I first consciously know say Christians could take offense even for something in Muslim Quran. So I just respect them from that time.

The person that put the banner there self fit just be one guy doing his own. But I respect them removing it sharpaly. Na so e suppose be.

Don’t go around saying stuffs that could trigger the other religion.

There is nothing like Jesus Christ in your Quran. What you have is prophet Isa.

NOTHING controversial about the banner. Both groups are pushing historically FALSELY doctrines anyway because there was NO human being called "Jesus." The Jesus of the Bible which the Muslims allude to as a "messenger and prophet" of God is INFACT a personification (metaphor) of the pagan Sun God which was widely worshipped in ancient empires from Egypt, Persia, Babylon, Greece, Rome, India, etc. This is why the December 25 Christmas date coincides with the period when the SUN rises to its highest point after 3 days on going down in the horizon during the Winter Solstice. This is what is refered to as the rebirth of the Sun by the ancients and the Jesus metaporical story just like other Sun Gods shows the burial and resurrection from the dead after 3 days and the rise from the dead of the biblibal Jesus was at SUNRISE. Many other attributes of the biblical Jesus were attributes of the SUN. I am the LIGHT of the WORLD, I am the way the truth and the LIGHT, The SUN of righteousness and many more! Indeed ignorance is a disease!

The SUN was seen as the giver of LIGHT and ALSO enhanced the growth of CROPS in agricultural societies while ALSO moderating the seasons. This is why Sunday is the day devoted to the worship of the SUN God which you find among Christians who religion evolved from the pagan Roman religion based off of the Sun God worship as constituted by Emperor Constantine of Rome who is well known Sun God (Sol Invictus) worshipper.

Acharya S or D.M. Murdock (who was an archaeologist and great historian) is one of the many who explain the astrotheological origins of Jesus the SUN of God in her books and YouTube videos online to educate those who are ready to learn. Her books such as:
"Jesus as the SUN throughout History" has been a major international best seller. Suns of God is another book she has written showing the astrotheological origins of many of the world's orthodox religions based on the worship of the Sun, moon, stars and the 12 Zodiac sign constellations which have survived till today and shamefully being denied by the clergy men who know these things anyway but do NOT want to lose their authorities. Of course others have known these things and hence have spoken out and left the fossilized thinking of their orthodox religions because LIES were being told to their followers.

NOBODY called Jesus (Jesus is the English spelling derived from the Latin Iesus or Iezeus or Zeus which all mean SAVIOR) existed in history. Just like Mithra, Horus, Apollo and other savoir Gods or SUN Gods, Jesus or Iesus, or Iezeus was just personification OR figurative being created to stand in for the pagan SUN GOD. The Europeans even knew this before colonialism was brought to Africa, Asia, and the Americas. It's ridiculous that the early Muslims under Caliph Uthman too ended up fabricating the story of an Isa or a Jesus who is a real human prophet and messenger of God. For those of us who have decades of insights from comparative religion studies, BOTH Muslims and Christians have EXPOSED and shot themselves CLEARLY in the foot with these FALSE historical and non-sacred narratives in their liturgies which they have used to control the ignorant masses in the past centuries BUT in the current information age, these religious FALSEHOODS will be crushed forever. Period.

Because it is in their Quran. From people on ground, they said the banner have been there for like 2 years now.

That’s why I gave my own example too, Jesus is the son of Mary and a prophet is what we read in the Quran. It was until later that I knew that it is offensive saying it to Christians.

It could also be vice versa. Christian’s saying “Jesus is God” could also be seen as offensive to Muslims since their Quran says otherwise.

But there are also some Isese adherents that are purely traditional. They are in the minority.

I can even argue with you that some Muslim adherents go to church too and some Christian adherents go to Alfa to seek divine intervention. It is too interwoven.

My mom sister na muslim, but anything my mom get something for her church, she invite her sister and she will be there singing and dancing.

Same applicable to a lot of people. Even me self don go church many times and I identify as Muslim.
