Noblechykk:Autonomy doesn't mean you shouldn't account for where you spent monies allocated to you. If not for lack of shame, why would anyone not puff their chests regarding how they (judiciously) spent government money that they were given? Well we know why. Also, at the very least, Edo state government needs the information to determine what amount they should allocate to who in the next fiscal year. It is not necessarily an EFCC thing (at this stage at least). Of course if they do find missappropriation, then due diligence requires that they report it to the relevant authorities. |
