That was a mistake on FIRS part. MTN do not remit 200bn VAT monthly.

You are reading it wrong and this is why the north disagrees with the Tax bill.

A user above shared a probable data from FIRS that MTN alone generates around 200bn of Lagos' VAT.

The catch is this VAT is from calls from all other states.

Secondly, Lagos's VAT is made fat by imports from other states whereas the port is built by federal money asides other federal status Lagos enjoyed and enjoys to this day.

Lagos, the envy of Philistines. We hope they're not counting ransom money as VAT in Anambra because we don't how anyone can achieve what our dear PitObi failed to achieve from consumption to consumption.

Ogun state is in such a shameful situation, despite it's advantage of being close to lagos yet the state has been laghin far behind in many major indices.

How can ogun generate less than 2B with proximity to Lagos ..and the level of industry....
