I know but it usually takes place in the year specifically towards the end, while next year's afcon will take place from dec 2025 to Jan 2026 unless the CAF awards for 2025 is shifted to 2026.

you are dense, club performance not enough yet Osimhen won it and Lookman, Messi won Ballon d'Or couple of times without national team complementing his club performances, Modric did, Ronaldo and many others...you sounding like you just started following football just about 10yrs ago...
they've been saying this for years... there's no way it will work that way..was why I used Ziyech as an example...the chance of winning any kind of individual awards organised by governor bodies with combination of club and country performance will always never happen...
