African parents can be so mean sometimes.
Just because they don't want their son to go play table tennis or football outside ,they will punish him by using pepper to rub the pennis of their son.
They learnt this act from their parents too and they feel this will stop the kid from playing table tennis or football outside.
The next day the son has gone to play table tennis again after rubbing pepper on his pennis.
Modern days parents are encouraging their kids to belong to one sports especially football as the money per week is into millions of naira while olden days parents are chasing their kids from not participating in sporting activities.
How pathetic.

Many dreams and talents were killed because of this particular useless mentality

You can't blame them because in those days the most successful people were doctors, lawyers, engineers and architects. Musicians and footballers were touts unlike today.

The equivalent is also parents dealing with their kids for porn when the highest earners today & in the future will be pornstars or sex-related workers.

Such acts are equivalent to concentration camp torture and deserves heavy punishment to parents who torture little children for being, well, children.

No matter what, kids will always be kids; stubborn, lying etc. You work as a parent is to guide them into realizing that it is morally wrong and they'll change. It's only a phase which will pass with time. There's no need to torture kids

Yep, she did die.

She was very often subjected to immense punishment torture anytime she does the slightest mistake. This time fresh pepper was grinded and rubbed all over her body: eyes, nose, ears, mouth, private part, anus, everywhere. I remember my mom staying up all night trying to calm her down from the screams and pains.
