This is pure bribery to silence opposition. These set of people are the vocal segment of the society who could checkmate bad governance.

Atiku, Obasanjo, Abdulsslami Abubakar etc don't need the money but to put them in check by present administration. The money is like a bribe.

Those who need the money are the lower rung of the society. The struggling masses. The talakawas,poor, marginalized and hoi polloi. Not the retired Military generals or Heads of state who have more than enough.

We have a long way to go in our leadership mantle. No sincerity or commitment.
