mrvitalis:it's actually against the constitution to pay any traditional ruler a dime from the coffers of public funds, federal, state or local government,the aberration, illegality started under the Military and the 4th republic politicians just continue with it ,same with security votes, Nigeria is a Republic,no traditional mornachy in any form is recognize,if left to me,all should be scrapped,they do nothing than marry more wives , collect money till they die,most of them lives in wealth while no development in their so called domain. |

If he doesn't give, you complain. Now that he gives, you complain. The people collecting are happy because they didn't receive anything before, but you want him to give them 1 billion every month before you appreciate a good gesture. It's not compulsory he gives them. The government can run without them but since they exist and prove that they have good contributions to make towards making government work easy, he's according them the respect they deserve. The Constitution of the Federal Republic recognizes three tiers of government and kings and traditional rulers are not part of it neither are there allocations for them. So calm down |
