MONKEYS INVADE HOME OF EBONYI PDP PUBLICITY SECRETARY IN AWKA, ANAMBRA STATE.

Monkeys invaded our kitchen last night and ate up a loaf of bread and a bunch of ripe plantain in the kitchen. They came through the window, tore the net apart and gained entry.

Over 35 monkeys are around our neighborhood at the centre of Awka, Anambra State Capital. They juncate freely. They are not to be killed. If you kill any, you'll bury it like a human corpse. If you dare to conceal it, calamity calls. Ndi Awka revere monkeys. They see them as human. Visitors try as much as they can not to harm any of them as it's abominable doing so.

The neighborhood we live in now is their zone. They behave like human citizenship. I may have to recuse my household from the neighborhood almost immediately as the presence of the monkeys is intimidating. Their piercing noise at night and their commitment to invasion of one's apartment when there's a loophole are menacing. So, if by chance you are new to Awka, when you see a monkey, don't do it any harm lest you have a burial event to fund.

I think it's a customary issue. He should take those monkeys to court and claim damages 😁😁

Even with the striking resemblance. You want him to take the monkeys to court, is that not a betrayal of the highest order

Those monkeys have the right to have a lawyer, and if there are no laws that forbid monkeys to enter a private property, then those monkeys will win the case and they should be compensated with bananas

Superstition really helped in conservation in many areas in Nigeria. Many animals are not extinct in Nigeria today because of these superstitions.

Exactly since it's treated like a human, they should also be responsible enough to face the law, if found guilty, they should be sent to do time in prison 😂😂😂😂😂
