The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Privatisation and Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has paid a friendly private visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, ABN TV reports.

The visit, according to Senator Kalu, was an opportunity to commend the President for his bold strides in steering the affairs of the nation and to provide an independent assessment of areas requiring urgent attention.

Speaking about the meeting, Senator Kalu highlighted President Tinubu's responsiveness and pragmatism in governance. He expressed confidence in the President’s commitment to addressing the issues raised during their discussion, noting that Tinubu assured him of tangible improvements in due course.

"One thing I want Nigerians to know and appreciate is the fact that we have a listening President, who is running a responsive and pragmatic Government," Kalu said. He called on all well-meaning Nigerians to support the administration in its efforts to move the country forward.

In a festive note, Senator Kalu extended his Christmas greetings to Nigerians, wishing them joy and prosperity during the season.
