Anambra born Tech Billionaire, B-Lord, has announced on his handle that he is cancelling the sharing of 1000 bags of Rice he planned to do in his compound in Ebenebe, Anambra State, this Christmas.

His reason for this is fear of stampede

B-Lord is well known to share a lot food items to his Ebenebe community every Christmas

Instead, he will allocate 125 bags to each of the 8 communities that make up Ebenebe, and also give each of them a Cow, Yams and kegs of Palm oil

Stampede is the beginning of wisdom

There is hunger in the land!

If it's not audio palliative, I will suggest that he should just release in manageable small batches of 10 bags per compound over a period of 2-4 weeks.

Organizers of distribution of rice which led to stampede have been doing so in previous years and were successful and they never envisaged or foresee that unfortunate thing like this will happen in this year edition. It was even stated that Ooni’s ex wife have been generous like this since 2019. It is unfortunate that some Nigerians use this incident to write off their past records by criminalizing them. Those blaming them for the disaster should be reasonable that they did not cause the stampede. All this are results of Bad Governance.
The police that have now come up to criminalize the act unless they are present during organization and distribution just want to collect their own share.

However he should put measure's in place to make sure that those 8 Community chairmen do not behave like our corrupt politician's that diverted COVID-19 Rice.
Not a grain of rice or a kilo of meat should be diverted for personal greed or gain.

This is the worst December so far in Nigeria ..
People dying everywhere.. because of getting bags of rice and food stuffs being shared...

But it then goes a long way to portray to the whole world our crude culture of not like to do things in a orderly manner. The average Nigerian does not have a " queue discipline" ask them to simply queue up and be attended to when their turn, you will see some late comers trying to scatter the line

Why not go into those communities those that you see and feel will benefit from the sharing should be given a note or ticket to be presented at the venue, that way only benefit aries will be given and the crowd will be easily controlled.
