Crude price is controlled by international forces not local. You can't just arbitrarily wish lower prices. The fall of petrol prices will be gradual and will also greatly depend on the Forex policy of the FG. If Dollar to Naira can drop to ₦1,200 we will see major drops in the price of a litre of petrol. |

Labour is mad.... Dangote reduced his pump price and NNPCL decided to do the same. And labour is ranting as if they initiated this act from the start. My plee is to Dangote..... He should reduce it further than this so that ordinary Nigerians can afford it. |

JASONjnr:He won't, don't waste Your time, he is trying to wrestle off competitions that wants to put his business in jeopardy The only time you are going to see reduction from that greedy crook is when those useless evil marketers anounces reduction in landing cost to maybe 700 - 720/ltr |

helinues:You're always bitter to the truth about your APC Government failures. Who in their right minds rejoice over #935 per litre? Like, what difference does the reduction make? Petrol costs affect most Nigerians goods and services. If the price of petrol should drop drastically, Nigerians will feel the effect on cost of transportation and goods. If Dangote can sell at 899.50, NNPC should be able to sell lesser. Competition is the way to drive the inflated cost down. |

I’ve mentioned it repeatedly - It amounts to self-deceit to expect Dangote to sell to you at fair prices. The MD of Dangote Cement once promised that cement prices would crash below N1,000 immediately Obajana took off. Now, we know better. It’s been BUA driving the price reduction efforts. You can only expect good prices when BUA and other big refineries commence production. You can relate it with this scenario - Imagine MTN is the only Telco in Nigeria and Coca-cola the only bottling company. Imagine! |

As if they were responsible for the reduction so far. All their so called threat to strike was only leading to price increase then. helinues: |

We should clap for Dangote though and shame the government. Dangote was selling fuel 970 and NNPC was 1030. |
