Growing up, I had great uncles and aunties that I always visited for holidays and I would be pampered with gifts when returning, but now they are no more. Sad reality.

Last week, I buried my last uncle and only left with one aunty alive.

It's very painful whenever I think how all of them have left this world one after the other. Sad indeed.

In total, paternally and materially, i had 6 uncles and 7 aunties, making 13 and now only one is alive. My happiness is that none died below the age of 55.

May their souls find peace, Amen.

Not many. They are succumbing to lifestyle diseases especially on my father’s side. Diabetes and high blood pressure are deleting them every other year. My mother’s side is susceptible to stomach ulcer combined with a fear of orthodox medicine.

I lost my favorite Maternal Uncle last year and I honestly don’t watch out for any of them from that side anymore.

Paternal side are good …No stress and will always come through for each other!

No more aunt from maternal side, only 2 more from paternal side left.
As it is now, all my cousins from maternal side have no aunt alive.. but we have never buried any of our uncles from both sides even though some of them are already aged.

Except one that died early while still very young. All others are still very much alive on both Maternal and Paternal side.

Maternal:-Only one uncle is died, Five are alive and doing well.In addition,five aunts are alive.

Paternal:-Only one uncle is alive. Two are died.Also,one and the only aunt is died too.
