you right at here the Ooni didn't kill those kids neither did the former queen did. in the light of all this still there is still some sort of witch-hunting playing out here (the Abuja and Anambra, cases hasn't gotten any legal pursuit so far (my submission though)).
it was obvious those that died didn't die during the cause of the program, this sad occurrence all happened hours eralier than scheduled for the program.
this should send a strong signal to the government and administrative system in this country to know and see for themselves the level of poverty they've instituted.
in same tone the citizens of Nigeria should stop impoverishing themselves. Nigerians will not wait to hear freebies, they will throng the venue like their lives depends on it. I see this to be share greed and illiteracy. I am not eroding the fact that there is poverty in the land.

Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Command have arrested the parish priest and officials of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Maitama, Abuja over the recent stampede that claimed the lives of at least 10 persons.

DAILY POST reports that the police had confirmed that about 10 persons, including children were killed during the fatal stampede that happened in Maitama, Abuja.

When contacted on Thursday, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh in an exclusive interview with DAILY POST confirmed the arrests

What has this got to do woth Ooni. Was he the one that murdered the deceased 30/35 kids. Was he the federal government that called for a thorough probe of those involved. And if you were a leader you would let the death of 35/30 children go uninvestigated.

We always allow ourselves to be ruled by emotions and sentiment in this part of the world. The organisers didn't have bad intention. In fact, they intended to show love and alleviate hunger. The problem is how they handled their good intentions. They murdered nobody. But they were negligent. And their negligence led to serious casualties.

I wish them luck. And I wish they escape from this quickly.
