Sharia can never fly in the SW. dead on arrival. If you look at the typical SW Muslim and the typical NW Muslim you will know why? I saw a video on Twitter from a man in the UAE. He said there is a difference between Islam and islamism. Islam is a religion, islamism is political. In the Sw we practice Islam. What they have in the North is more islamism! He goes on to say there is no country that practices islamism that isn’t a mess!

South West actually needs Sharia Courts and any Moslem that opposes the establishment of Shari'a Courts in South West which has a sizeable Moslem population is worse than an unbeliever. As you have customary courts for the native customs of the people, there should be Sharia Courts for Moslems too. Its does not amount to anything. There is a difference between having Sharia Courts and implementing Sharia law. Abuja has Sharia Courts but there is no Sharia law. It becomes optional for Moslems who want to settle their disputes in Islamic way to go to Sharia Courts. Before you come for me, am not a Moslem, just a person that wants fairness to all people. |
