Imo is generally occasion centre,, merry headquarters,,, liberal merry styled... They catch fun with devil ... Fun celebration society... No/low production industry ,, except on hospitality (hotels) and normal Local foods.. bunkers...

Imo will be best for I.T infrastructure cos they are smart not hard physical workers

A 6 lane road or train connecting onne port to oguta lake down to orashi to river Niger in Onitsha . ( New Big economic hubs created seamlessly).

Ngor okpala and ohaji agro productions & process eco zone

Owerri anything assembly plants zone ,

Okigwe solid mineral zone ,all Chem production zone etc

Orlu zone everything trade / commerce hub

Owerri is fine but the only problem is that their governor suffers them with no electricity at all. They barely have
Power supply. Just 2 hours a day, but when it’s sallah period they give them electricity for 24 hours. They’re cursed with a bad leader. If not the people are trying.

The beauty of Owerri is the handiwork of Rochas, no doubt Owerri is beautiful but with a terrible leader. As a matter of fact I live in Civic center layout. So Owerri is beautiful. But I prefer Port Harcourt anyday to Owerri

Credits go to all governors from 1999 till date.
They insisted on sustaining the master plan of Owerri.
Ohakim kick started it, by demolishing all billboards littered all over the city, and was the first governor to ban the use of okada in a city center

I visited Imo recently. Why the agog of Owerri while the other towns like Okigwe, Orlu, Anara etc in Imo state are literally abandoned places with no government infrastructures to develop with?

The primitive greed of Owerri people who literally seized all institutions of government for Imo state and located them all in Owerri zone, without any thought of what can be located in the other two old cities in Imo State; that's the ugly thing about Owerri.
Why can't Owerri people see Anambra or Abia state where many cities thrive in one state because institutions of government are distributed in all the zones of the state?

Apart from that, Owerri fights any Imo gov who tried development outside Owerri zone. See how they set fire on road building machines in Orlu after four years of bombing down the little govt establishments there.
When Orlu and Okigwe ask for new state, Owerri people refuse but lobby for Anioma state proposal.

Why do Owerri people derive so much joy in seeing that Owerri is the only developing area in Imo state?
Their joy is in observing that the seeds they sowed for arrested development in Okigwe and Orlu areas have borne fruits. The seeds of denying government institutions and services for Orlu and Okigwe. The seeds sowed before 1999.
