So your explanation is that they planned to lose matches? Whatever is happening is not new to Man City, it randomly happens to dominant teams.

There is absolutely nothing random or commonplace about 1 win in over 10 games...

Let's not be ridiculous abeg.

Yes, top teams decline, but never to this horrifying extent.

Something strange is afoot at Man City.

FT 1-1

Bus-parking Everton drawing 3games in a row with Arsenal, Chelsea & City.

Pep still lost on what to do to get City firing again. They still manage to dominate play but end up being ineffective.

Nothing strange about it.. law of diminishing returns. They were overconfidence till they are caught off guard with their players getting old

Dude, I expect better from you. Planning to lose matches is categorized under match-fixing and has serious legal implications. Covering it up is not as easy as you may think as such a plan would involve many people and keeping this secret is no easy task. At a point you are going to have a whistleblower and all hell will get loose. The club will definitely not survive the legal (criminal/civil) implications, violation of competition law, sanctions, and reputation damage. Come on now!

Yes, something is happening but planning to lose "a few matches"? Don't be ridiculous.

Haaland should humble himself and learn the art of taking penalties from Salah the master
He single handedly made City drop points

Boss, I'm not even alluding to Match-fixing... I haven't accused them of that.

Still, you have to admit it's unusual and downright strange.

I mean... Even EVERTON?!!

Do you know that Man City is currently ranked in the bottom 3 of EPL going by their results in the last 2 months?

All I'm saying is strange things are happening over there.
Re: Manchester City Vs Everton (1 - 1) 0n 26th December 2024 by Shikena(m): 3:30pm On Dec 26, 2024
It was even belated because of Guardiola's genius. Most teams get found out in far less time especially when you have had series of transitions across different types of players in your team. When EPL teams find you out, they are like bull-dogs!

Ignore these Man city fans cum clowns that think their team is some kind of invincibles. They were simply found out.

Manchester City are going back to their pre 2010 era

if you watched the match you will see that open play chances to score was very scarce for City with this poor form they are
Everton packed the bus and thrived on counter which City struggled to cope with
So having the golden chance of getting a penalty and losing it is unacceptable
He made them drop 2 points

Lol... Boss, how many players are getting old?!! Talk true!

Haaland is old?!! Foden?!! Doku? Savinho? Even Silva is at the same level as Bruno! grin

Not winning one game in 3 can be understood at their elite level (case in point is their Red neighbor)... But, 1 out of 12 is DIABOLICAL!

That's basically League 2 level of mess up.

Now that city are not doing well expect that FA to deliver a conviction against them for lack of fair play in their dealings. One or two of their league titles will be taken away. Mark my words

Oh I see now... I merely reacted to the part about this being "random" or common place for top or most teams.

Even if you want to throw or fix games, tossing 10 games in a row is practically begging for a historical ban.

Are they trying to relegate on their own due to court cases or just a mere coincidence
How does the court case affect them undecided they'd still be required to forfeit their title even if relegated so, what's the sense in playing to lose games undecided
