Nwosu called this approach ill-timed, emphasizing that the government should have prioritized security much earlier.

“The Soludo administration has failed to prioritize the needs of Ndi Anambra. This approach is unacceptable. It’s alarming that a prominent Anambra prelate is still missing, and on Christmas Eve, an incumbent member of the Anambra State Assembly was kidnapped,” he said.

Nwosu criticized the governor’s handling of security, arguing that it should not be treated like a scheduled event. “State security is a 24/7 responsibility, requiring a firm commitment, adequate resources, personnel, equipment, and materials,” he stressed.

He concluded by calling for change in the state’s leadership, asserting that Anambra’s citizens could not afford to continue supporting a government that jeopardizes their safety.

“We cannot remain exiled from our homeland. Change is urgently needed, and we urge everyone to be part of this change,” Nwosu added.

Initially,they claimed Igbo's will never returned to their states due to insecurity. When that useless claim failed becoming very obvious to all and sundry that the so called insecurity in SE is obvious exaggerated by APC govt paid mischief makers, the narrative now changes "to drastic drop in number of returnees" how shameless can some people and their media houses be.

They shamelessly fail to understand that the returning is even just starting especially for some of us that start returning from December 27th who are more than 75% of early returnees.

If there is any highlighted significant drop in number of returnees then it is obviously due to the high cost of living as a result of the devilish and wicked policies of the APC led federal govt. Which is across the states. So, your so acclaimed gaslighting due to insecurity holds no water.

Of course, our people are very much aware that the so tagged insecurity is caused by the APC led govt who contracted Asari Dokubo to do their bidding. What kind of security contract did the APC led federal govt contract Asari Dokubo to do for them in the South East?
