nateevs:That's one of the best ways to show superiority - when they met. Muniz scored a goal Jackson might have miscued for the keeper to catch with his left leg. Jackson was bundled out for spoiling good attacking moments. A fit Muniz is a better striker to your bang average Jackson. Sherwood was right when he claimed sometimes he plays football like a rapper in a socceraid match. |

timbros:It's a shame that i am even tilting towards that idea. I never imagined a time will come i will prefer a teenage striker to replace our main striker. ![]() Meanwhile, you are yet to answer : Do you have Jackson in your Fpl team? |

I like the fact that everyone is now hitting on what I have been saying for quite a while. We have wingers with zero goal threat stinking up everywhere. The one that has little goal threat has a bad attitude and misses a lot of chances. I am really hoping Sancho and Neto get 8 league goals combined |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Kimbeast: 7:04am On Dec 27, 2024 |
diggz:There's nothing wrong with Palmer going to the wing to accommodate another goal getter in Nkunku playing that 10 role. Nkunku as a 10 is also a beast. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 7:08am On Dec 27, 2024 |
It's shameful that Sherwood described Chelsea's top striker in this way, after spending over 1.2bn on players. "At times he looks like someone playing in Soccer Aid who’s not a footballer. Look at this chance [Jackson’s miss from six yards], that looks like someone who is a rapper or an actor or something trying to play football." We can't continue with this crap. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Kimbeast: 7:09am On Dec 27, 2024 |
Ibime:I disagree on Nkunku. Cucurella was insane for that also missed a point blank header that would have put the game to bed. |

I am just getting to see this. Thought it was injury concern but Madueke was dropped by Maresca. For Maresca to pick two goalkeepers on the bench over you then it's something serious.

airmark:You speak of MJ like he’s one of our marquee signings, but he is not. He is an unpolished, unfinished developing player. The club and the coach know this, along with most of the fan base and football heads. You know I am fully in support of us getting a better striker, so there’s no agenda from my side. However, I listed a bunch of strikers we’ve spent substantial fees on, plus our academy players, and none of them beats Jackson in any metrics. For the old monikers here, please correct me if I’m wrong. Some of us can remember how Anelka started with us until Carlo came through to strike a deadly partnership between him and Didier, and the rest was history. So, I believe MJ has a future here, even if not as the main striker. While we are scrutinising his performance, I would like to remind you that the world’s deadliest striker, Haaland, missed chances yesterday, including a penalty. He failed to secure a much needed 3pts for his team at their lowest moment. He had not one, two or three chances including a free Penalty, but he still failed to deliver. Also, could you remind us again what Haaland's contributions have looked like in the past couple of games? My point is that even if we get MJ's replacement tomorrow, there’s no guarantee that he will get us our three points all the time. A case in point is Didier (our legend) f00lishly getting himself sent off against ManU during a UCL final, but had the opportunity to redeem himself a few years later against raumdeuter's Bayern. Even DD was proper rubbish in his first and second season with us until he peaked form. MJ can still come good too. I rest my case. |

Kimbeast:Nkunku is a bum! Person wey no fit track back or press or hold play. Nah man….the bum needs to fvck off asap. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by diggz: 7:30am On Dec 27, 2024 |
Kimbeast:Cucu isn't a striker. Comparing him to Nkunku in any way just highlights how useless a player Nkunku is for the team. Honestly, Nkunku is a total bum, no doubt about it. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Kimbeast: 7:31am On Dec 27, 2024 |
diggz:The issue with Nkunku is that he is not a sub player. He will hardly make an impact with 15 mins to go. The nigga is sulking from sitting on the bench. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Kimbeast: 7:35am On Dec 27, 2024 |
diggz:Those are two different sentences. I disagreed with his assessment of Nkunku and also highlighted how Cucurella missed a point blank header that would have killed the game plus his laziness for the 2nd goal. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by diggz: 7:36am On Dec 27, 2024 |
Kimbeast:The other problems you didn't mention are that he's not a starter, not a proper striker, not a hustler, and just a positionless bum. Hopefully, we can collect small thing for him soon, so e fit go sulk for another team. Useless player! |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Kimbeast: 7:44am On Dec 27, 2024 |
diggz:I understand your take but he is way better than his performances suggest. I would like to see him in that 10 role for 2 to 3 league matches before drawing final conclusions. He needs the step up or find his way out. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by diggz: 7:47am On Dec 27, 2024 |
Kimbeast:I completely disagree with your assessment of Cucu. No offense, but it sounds like you don’t engage much in physical activities. First of all, Cucu had no business being in that position for a free header, and he did the best he could at that moment. Secondly, considering how actively he was involved in moving forward to combine with the attackers, covering spaces in the midfield, and defending at the same time, it’s not surprising that fatigue set in during the later stages of the game. I won’t hold him accountable for the second goal; instead, it’s the chronic gambler pretending to be our keeper, Sanchez, who is really responsible here. PS - I could even argue that bringing on the bum Nkunku led to the second goal. Lol |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 7:49am On Dec 27, 2024 |
diggz:The point is we made a mistake of using an unriped striker that should have been corrected before the season started. I never rated Morata, and you know. Havertz is not a natural striker. Higuain was washed when we got him on loan. Let's leave those and talk about finishers available now that are confident to score in the box. Gyokeres will not be as goal-shy as Jackson in the box. We should not continue to be a laughing stock regarding the striker leading our line. Spurs won't even bench Solanke for Jackson. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by diggz: 7:51am On Dec 27, 2024 |
Kimbeast:Sorry, I'm a bit confused here. You want to see Nkunku in the 10 position instead of Palmer? Abeg, no oooo… that bum can’t replicate Palmer’s numbers in that role. Plus, we’ve seen Palmer on the wings before, and he wasn’t great there. We don’t want another Havertz experiment; that bum should go ply his trade elsewhere, abeg. |

diggz:* There's no excuse for missing that free header. It was from a set piece and he should be scoring that. The keeper didn't even do much in keeping that out. *His attitude for the 2nd goal was nonchalant. That's not something you should be defending. Sanchez was at fault so was Cucurella. Fulham goal came from where Cucu was supposed to be positioned.

airmark:17 league appearances. 3 goals. Take this nonsense striker away from here. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Kimbeast: 8:04am On Dec 27, 2024 |
diggz:Bro Nkunku won golden boot playing the 10 or supporting striker role in Germany. He is capable of getting double digits in league goals with constant game time. Palmer was great on the wing last season. He scored the same number of goals.

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 8:04am On Dec 27, 2024 |
lordfalcao:Fulham will prefer him to Jackson that plays like a rapper. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by diggz: 8:09am On Dec 27, 2024 |
airmark:Agreed! But whose fault is it that we went into the season with an unripe striker? Is it the striker’s fault or the club’s fault? If it’s the club’s fault, shouldn’t you be pointing fingers at them instead of MJ? I repeat, not even Gyokeres would have guaranteed us 3 points yesterday. If I’m not mistaken, Haaland missed more than 3 clear chances, including a free penalty. Useless Solanke couldn’t help his team either; they got beaten by Forrest. Jackson has 9 PL goals and 3 assists, while Solanke, who is a more proven EPL striker, has only 6 PL goals and 3 assists. God forbid Spurs get their hands on a half-decent striker like MJ. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by diggz: 8:12am On Dec 27, 2024 |
Kimbeast:My brother, Timo, and Havertz were fantastic players in Germany before they came to the EPL. We all know how we feel about those two players now. PS - We have too many players on the left wing, including those currently in the club, on loan, and those expected to join soon. We shouldn’t complicate our problems just to fit in a bum. He should leave ASAP. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by airmark(m): 8:15am On Dec 27, 2024 |
diggz:I blamed Maresca and Chelsea for not sending him on loan as I suggested, before the window closed. He was/is not ready to lead our attack to contend for Epl. We saw Gyokeres for club and country scoring goals that Jackson wouldn't score. His numbers for club and country is enough to tell one that he is better than Jackson in front of goal and in the box. Spurs won't prefer Jackson to Solanke. No sane coach will prefer a notorious wasteful striker to a natural finisher. Any striker with 1 goal in 18 matches for his country , shouldn't be the main striker for a top club like Chelsea. The red flag is obvious. |

Nkunku plays like someone who has an underlying heart problem and that may be why he lacks that energy to press Again he and Felix doesn't fit this system |

I really don't get how Nkunku became lazy or nonchalant. This guy was a pressing monster as Leipzig. Coaches were even using him as wingback and fullbacks. Sitting on the bench constantly has done something to him. He needs to get back to his top level or leave the club. |
