All DStv customers will have free access to all DStv channels from Dec. 27 to 29, regardless of their current subscription package, MultiChoice Nigeria, the owner of the pay tv station said in a statement on Thursday

According to the statement, the seasonal offer is open to all subscribers.

The statement read in part: “No Subscription, No Problem! Switch on your DStv decoder for a gift like no other this festive season, 72 hours of all content, all channels, all on us!

As we wind down the year and celebrate the holidays, DStv is happy to announce that we are making this December one to remember.

From Friday, Dec. 27, to Sunday, Dec. 29, we’re giving all DStv customers, connected and disconnected, regardless of their current package, access to every channel and every show at no extra cost.

Whatever package you’re on, connected or not, this is your chance to unlock the full power of DStv Premium and revel in a world of endless entertainment and authenticity.

For 72 hours, the only thing standing between you and the best in sports, kids’ programming, movies, and local dramas is your decoder. No payments or calls required.”;

So I should dust my decoder because of three days free view that I won't spend up to 3 hours on? Definitely not interested.

Are they forcing the free subscription on people?

Interesting gestures and a good dividends to appreciate their customers for the year. They also need to bounce back with more sustainable and modern practices.

Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year everyone 🎄❤️
Re: Yuletide: Multichoice Grants Free Access To All Dstv Stations by saddler: 6:05am On Dec 27, 2024
This is a strategy aimed at tempting customers to see what they have been missing so as to get them to come back.

Unfortunately, T-Pain disastrous economic policies are really biting hard on Nigerians and many already sold their DSTV dish and other components to Aboki/iron condemn to feed.

The few who will manage to enjoy this Greek gift wont even wait for DSTV to start bombarding their console with subscription messages before they have it packed up.

They can't even say a simple "Merry Christmas"

They keep saying happy holiday/yuletide.

I have long forgotten what DStv/GOtv is all about. I doubt I would still remember its operations. Iptv have since taken over. No more going back to Egypt.

Saying happy yuletide and merry Christmas is the same thing, just semantics.

Yuletide and Christmas are never the same for a Christian, our lord Jesus christ is the reason for Xmas celebration. So no any kind of semantics should make anyone to replace the CHRIST-mass (Christmas) with yuletide/holidays.

Hello, I know you mean well. But is not the same. Let the Christ be there

Merry Xmas also is not equal to Merry Christmas.

They may belong to kumuyi's church or are jehovah's witnesses or seventh-day adventists, or belong to other "bible-believing" churches to whom Christmas is an anathema.

CHRIST is an invented English word for someone
who never spoke English nor never called by that name.

So, what's your point?

It doesn't matter if Jesus christ spoke English or not, what matters to most Christians is the fact that December 25th is a day set aside to mark his earthly birth, so any attempt by a woke society to systematically remove his name and replace with another adjective that does no relate to christ is wrong in it entirety
