But Lagos needs more trees and greenery.

Let's start with a million more trees.

Trees civilises an environment.

Most of the trees planted under Fashola didn't make it. A lot of work needs to be done if the government will embark on tree planting again, so the success rate will be high this time around
They planted it and abandoned it. Those who got the contract were suppose to be sued.

They were meant to nurture it to grow.
Besides the planting was not even on raining seasons

Kindly show Lagos Island, Ebute-Meta, Ijora. Lagos is trying, but not at the pace of money generated. 70% of these developments are private initiatives. grin grin grin grin cry cry
the private initiatives you talked about, where did they make the money from. if it is so easy, let the private initiative go abd develp Zamfara state.

A state that thrives like lagos is expected to have even more than the 70% private initiative to develop the state

Have you been to Akwa Ibom. For your information, I am a Lagosian by birth, but I am from Igbomina. Few days ago, I saw Julius Berger working around Isale Agbede, Adeniji Road. If all the money generated are put to good use, Dubai will envy Lagos. In the days of Ambode, there was Light up Lagos, but know, Ikorodu Road, Eko Bridge, Third mainland, most parts are in darkness. grin grin grin grin cry cry

In Igbo movies, the children in the village are always happy when their brother visit the whole family in the village from Lagos.

When the brother is about to return to Lagos, one of the children in the family will tell the brother that I want to follow you to Lagos, she/he will say "brother I hear say they have big big houses in Lagos, plenty rivers, ocean, big big cars, beautiful roads" unfortunately none of the children will want to go to onitsha, Aba, Owerri, Enugu but Lagos.

The prayers of an average Igbo man by his parents is not answer by God in the southeast unless they reach Lagos. But today they don't appreciate the city that made them.
I was shocked to my bones when some ibo ladies said they would rather go to Lagos than go to Heaven.

Was shocked when Ibo men said they will do anything to change their ethnicity to Yoruba... even take tribal marks.

Check the school choices of Mmesoma, the cheating JAMB. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th choice... ALL Lagos!

All these children from the rusted roof houses without toilet like posting rubbish. Lagos has a few decent parts because federal government, other Nigerians and foreigners got involved. Otherwise it would have been like your other shiitholes without toilets. Despite all the efforts of others, your people still live in trenches in areas they dominate like Mushin. Many of you still defecate in the open in broad day light.

Lagos should be comparing itself with its mates like Nairobi, Adiss Ababa, Johannesburg, Cairo etc where similar investments also made like was done in Lagos. But these cities have left Lagos in the dust while you compare with local cities in Nigeria that had no significant investments except by the locals.

You move from ogbomosho to Lagos and you feel amazed because you left mud houses without toilets behind. No Igbo man today would feel amazed arriving in Lagos, because Eastern cities and even villages are more decent than many parts of Lagos. Most Igbos rather feel disappointed seeing how yorubas openly baff inside roundabouts and shiit in gutters while others are passing by like it's nothing.

Lagos has refused to really become fully modern because those from the catchment areas are primitive and resistant to modernity.

Even those Igbos that will soon come and abuse your life here right now are all residing in Lasgidi.

And those that travelled for the Christmas will definitely come back to Lagos with handbags of brothers and sisters to come and hustle in Lagos.

Living and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and accommodative openess of Lagos.

Lagos is the catalyst of success and progressive living to all Nigerians.

Lagos hands are Open with wide embrace even to the critiques of her souls world wide.

Lagos doesn't have enemy just like water...

Stop abusing and taking your host as enemy.

Don't shit or pee on your beds cos when you do, you will still come back to lie on it....

Stop the hates and love your host....

Why all this hype about Lagos? As long as those slumps are still there and people still live under the bridges, heavy traffic jams are norms, there is nothing to be proud about.

You are very stupid. Your rotten lips like ''non functional transport system''.

You think Lagos is your dirty village with okada bikes?

A city with WORLD CLASS RAIL AND BRT SYSTEMS and fast developing infrastructure is what your rotten Igbo lips are insulting when you come from a dirty gutter?

Nasty village wretch.

When I see post of a typical yoruba man from the region of rusted roof houses without toilets, I just shake my head. Most of you are so unexposed and ignorant unlike Igbos that are well travelled.

Look at the pictures that was posted and all of you are in jubilation. If only you people are travelled & exposed like Igbos, you will know that even the poorest countries in the world today still have decent parts that are far more beautiful than these pictures.

Ignorance is not bliss.

We are still waiting for this city called Lagos to start making most Yoruba Agbero comfortable people.

How can you be in your father's land and another person will come and overtake you and you will start wailing and envying him.
