Good Lagos.

Hope they dont all end up overseas, because despite efforts to produce more medical professionals, Nigeria faces a growing brain drain that leaves hospitals understaffed and healthcare delivery at risk. It is their choice though to do what they want with their skills, labour and service.

To me o, there is a strong need to adopt a multi-faceted approach to retain the country’s talent. Beyond establishing institutions like these , it is crucial to provide competitive compensation and incentives, improve working conditions with modern infrastructure, and create local career development opportunities through scholarships and partnerships. The fear is with bad governance and unsafe/insecure environment there will also be a strong need to enhance security and governance for ensuring a more stable, functional, safe, secure and free environment. They should also be ready to collaborate with the private sector to establish world-class facilities to retain the talents they are about to produce.

Nigeria needs strong patriotic campaigns and recognition of exceptional contributions to foster a sense of duty and commitment to serving the nation, but again humans are naturally self preserving.. Nobody come lagos come count bridge. Who wants to serve in an unsafe and insecure environment? Lagos State should take on many measures that collectively implemented, can make staying in Nigeria an attractive and viable choice for medical professionals make dem no all japa.

Me too. I had to Google it because I was wondering when it was set up. This sort of university would be helpful in Lagos. Nice one 👍

This will be funny.
We are going to expect parents to send their children to med schools that are double, triple or more the cost of govt schools, yet we'll expect those kids to graduate and earn 300k.
Funny country

Nice one.

At least Eko is developing in a slow but nice way.

Not like some useless developers that are developing the country with drug trafficking, prostitution, baby factories, fake products and medicine.
