First, it was Rotimi Ameachi as a governor that joined the North and SWest to remove GEJ a bayelsa man and a SS person, simply because he had an issue with the first lady then that happened to come from same local govt as his. Again, Bayelsa was also created from old rivers state. Then Wike as a governor betrayed his party to rigged river state in favour of APC simply because he was outsmarted during the PDP presidential primaries. Ameachi was used and dumped Wike own will be loud. What was Ameachi thinking? like they would have handed him the presidency after he joined them to truncate his brother's tenure. This is greed and bitterness taken too far. Wike is on the same path and his fall will be heavy |

OredoPikin:Concentrate on your life and leave the two made men. Since 1999 they have been relevant. Outside presidency Ameachi and Wike has been favored politically. Some of their mates couldn't do local government chairman. Ameachi was never used and dump cos his political fight with the Jonathan's was successful. He won them and became a super minister. He brought maritime academy to is hometown too. Wike supported Tinubu against is party pdp and now, he is the first FCT minister from southern Nigeria. Rivers according to him, has the highest number of appointments by Tinubu. That is attributed to him. |

kedeojo:What development has all those appointments brought to Rivers state? How does these political appointments favour the common Rivers man? A man that went to court to stop the allocation of his own state because of his political differences with his successor is that not wickedness to the entire state? As a minister of FCT what has he brought or done that has benefited the common Rivers man... Just shut up. He has lost the support of majority of Rivers people, the people that are benefitting from his crunches cannot help him politically. Free and fair Wike cannot win even his own ward... He is now being perceived as an enemy of the state |

Davinity:Concentrate on your dot states. You will still be the one that will blame Wike for leaving a viable southern candidate for a northerner. The South agreed it would be the turn of South after Buhari. Wike went for it and couldn't get it. He turned back to support a southern candidate he believed would win. At the end he was right. Be waiting for when he would fall while the president keeps supporting him. |

Kreesxxx:It is actually the greediness of Wike. Atiku gave a condition that the only way he could support zoning to the south its if it is microzone to SE Wike rejected it and say they will throw it open simply because he believes he can use rivers money to influence everything. He was taught a lesson and instead of him to learn, he started running mad |

OredoPikin:These entitlement and handicapped mentalities are the greatest undoing of you people. You don't even know who your enemies are. What was the right of Atiku to tell the South where they must zone their presidency to? Did the South dictate to the north? Why didn't he tell APC to also zone it to south east? I am ashamed of you. In recent times have you not been seeing north asking Jonathan to come back? Why are they asking him to contest? They know South South still has a term. Wike was right to contest and another South South person would contest again if not Wike when the chance presents itself again. |
| Re: The Bitter Politics Of Rivers Politicians by OredoPikin(op): 9:08am On Dec 28, 2024 |
Kreesxxx:The North is ònly asking Jonathan to contest because they know he can only rule one term and power will return to them They will prefer to support a Jonathan or worst manage Tinubu for 4 extra years than supporting a fresh candidate from the south that will want to stay for 8yrs. Wike will end up like Ameachi and even worst. He will never be trusted in APC neither will he be in PDP when the times comes. His political career is dead and that is why he is fighting fubara with everything. He knows if he cant control rivers state and rigged for APC just as he did in 2023, he is a goner. |

OredoPikin:The four years Jonathan has is it a personal right or the right of anyone from South South? |
