Airpeace shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence with Ibom Air. Ibom Air shouldn't even be compared to most airlines companies in Nigeria. They are a class above most. Went from Uyo to Abuja late November and it was one of their new planes. Extremely pleasant flight. Was brought back to reality when I had to take another flight on another airline a week after to somewhere in the southwest. The plane rattled all through. Couldn't see out the window because it was all scratched up. Interestingly, I expected better from that particular airline company. Airpeace needs to be sanctioned in so many ways. I still haven't received a refund for a ticket cancelled in November. I have filed complaints with the fccpc. And will continue to do so until I get my refund back. Its been over a month bigcil2:

Abi ooh! Sounds like the whole article is fake news and propaganda to discredit Airpeace. How can it be possible that 6 airlines were sanctioned but only one airline of the six were named and then going further to say how the owner accepts his staff are guilty as he had personally witnessed it? I smell fake news and anti-Airpeace witch-hunting. Recall that Airpeace has not been forgiven by foreign airlines who were running a lucrative cartel on Nigeria to Europe/America flights, until Airpeace entered the market and crashed flight ticket prices . 43Ronin:

Did you contact Airpeace to reroute or reschedule the cancelled flight ? Before you come here blaming Airpeace for not refunding you , you should consider that refunds may only be paid where it is not possible to reroute or reschedule the flight. Have you read and understood their terms and conditions for selling you their flight ticket? aoshea18: |

rinzaugustine:Did the read the article at all? NCAA notified all five airlines. Then Air Peace responded. And that made the news. The way some of you see a conspiracy in everything. |

Ask nedekid which other domestic operator is better than Airpeace? Yes the purposely tell passengers that a flight would be departing 2 hours earlier than the actual departure time to ensure that the flights are full and people check in in good time before the departure time. What you believe is delayed departure is actually Airpeace waiting for their scheduled departure time. lebete3000: |

OALandAgents:Lol! It takes a certain level of thinking to imagine I would go through the rigours of filing a complaint with the FCCPC without first contacting and lodging a formal request with Airpeace for a refund. 3 of their customer care agents gave me 3 different timelines for getting my refund. The first one I spoke to said 10 working days, the second one, one month, the 3rd one 21 days. No consistency. Exactly like a scam. Like I said, Airpeace needs to be sanctioned as much as possible. I expect people with half a brain would infer all these things since I'm not expected to type everything that's happened between the company and me.

This is highly commendable, Onyema owning up,its worth emulating. Other businesses not only airline should emulate Allen's openness and respect for consumers right. |

| Re: Air Peace Chairman Accepts FG Sanctions, Pledges Compliance by sulaak(m): 9:14am On Dec 28, 2024 |
nedekid:Dummy. The FGN should not be running airlines, refineries, steel plants, etc. Their job should be setting standards and regulations to protect consumer interests. The telecom industry took off in 2003 because NITEL was taking off the game, and the industry was deregulated, just as it is happening in the refinery industry today. |

bigcil2:Ibom Air is the best in Nigeria. No unnecessary adverts/publicity. Just doing a fantastic job. Air Peace will know that they have no flight scheduled for a particular time but they will still make the time available knowing fully well that they do not have a plane available just because they don't want to make you book another airline. Only for passengers to be lumped together. Cunning and dubious airline! |
| Re: Air Peace Chairman Accepts FG Sanctions, Pledges Compliance by naturalwaves: 11:01am On Dec 28, 2024 |
OALandAgents:You submission is daft sir. So, an airline says departure is 8 AM but they plan to depart 1 PM, right? Instead of you to point out their cunning behaviour of using just one plane to load everyone to maximise profit, you're here talking non.sense. They know that if they have only one time slot available for flight, people who want to go earlier will book other flights. So, they will rather lie and then when it is time, they will keep on coming up with funny stories. Stop defending nonsense sir. |

aoshea18:Ibom Air uses the Airbus A220 series. One of the best series in the world. It was not one of their new planes . The one you flew may be one of the newest in the fleet but all their planes are that neat and good. Their take off time is take off. No delays. If you take a 7 AM flight to Abuja in Lagos, by 7:55 you will touchdown Abuja. |
