The kids are not meant to die that time, that's a fallacy. Nigerians no deh follow safeguarding principles and do things anyhow. Most of the road accidents that do happen in Nigeria and claim many lives is because we don't follow road safety regulations. See the way unqualified people are been granted drivers license in Nigeria. Before you get a drivers license in the UK, your eye go see shege, nothing like man no man, that's why accidents there are reduced to the nearest minimum unlike in Nigeria.
The kids are meant to die as at that time. Also the cause of death is a mixture of greed and selfishness as is usual of an average Nigerian.

No one knows the death date of anyone! We only know when they die!

But why can't Nigerians do things without fanfare, does it mean she can not quietly give to poor people without using loud speaker to announce to the whole world. Some people gave out millions this season without making a show of it . I visited a motherless home, in the register I saw millions being donated anonymously. She should face justice, the reason she made a publicity of this is to attract human praise but she forgets as a woman of God that the bible said it's God that rewards our secret good deeds.

Walahi, the guy you quoted has a superior argument. Stop being emotional on this issue. If Nigeria will get better, it will start somewhere and people need to be held accountable for their actions and inactions.

These is just a simple atestation Nigerians are not worth diein, these are two good people, alhaji oriyomi as being more helpful than most politicians sitting in NA

I can believe these two are thrown in jail and Nigerians just move on like they don't send, not even an online protest But you see foolish Nigerians fighting to defend politicians and even protest.

I dont just see how the unfortunate incident is those two fault,
you said Nigerians just moved on right ?

And what have you been able to do as an individual who is yet to move on?

Because they are two good people there shouldn't be a consequence for an actions or inactions ?

Were they asked to be killed?

or are you saying the lives of those that died doesn't matter ?

One thing about us Nigerian is that we always allows our emotions get the better part of us.

We should also put ourselves in the shoes of the families who loss there wards either intensionally of not....

she was only reminded and not a death sentences , the ones who had died can't get this fair hearning.

Madam,,
Your daughter is no longer the wife of the OONI.
She divorced him on social media.
Your daughter divorced a god,,a deity, the custodian of the Yoruba race on Social media. She don enter kasala u now wanna seek the good face of the OONI. Even if the OONI uses his influence,,it's a privilege enjoyed and not a Right!!
Even though her intentions were good, the law must take it's course. Lives were lost.
Some people will mourn into the new year.
We should not be sentimental
What's the nature of her crime according to you

Negligence is a tort so her arrest is in order. But one good day she suppose don dey bail. Na mother of the child of a royal prince.

Even western governments protect their family members.

Ooni no get levels at all. He is seen everywhere at parties so he no too get value to apply royal pressure in times like this.

Pata Pata dem go arrest her foundation manager to take the fall.
When you say negligence? Can you define negligence and how it is criminal in this matter

This is not being emotional, but logical. Let’s look at this with open minds. If you were the organizer, you planned an event for 10am, locked the gate till you were ready and every personnel are on ground. But desperate people decided to jump the fence, 8hrs before the scheduled time and issues like this happened. Pls tell me what you would have done differently, perhaps people can learn from your experience.

I still don't know the contractual agreement btw a free giver and a willing taker that will warant a judge to detain either party!

You are there on your own free will and the giver has made the arrangements for how many and what to give.

If you risk safety risk and jeopardize ur own health, how's thos the concern or responsibilities of the giver!!

The govt need to take responsibility for causing depravity is arresting those who try to solve depravity!!

So why hunger strike. So on what basis should she be released without the authority of the court. She must accept the situation as a price to be paid. The organization of the programme had so many lapses. Parents and children died in the process and are not animals. She must relax and go through the court process. She will be wasting her time if she is thinking of any political solution or connection. She should go through the case stoically.

How is the death of those kids(RIP) out of her act or omission!

Most of those people blaming her are looking to deflect blame from politicians and because of that choose to spin lies

Reading the statement from eyewitnesses and organisers, she's not culpable in any way

Just imagine for a moment that there's a stampede in a stadium. Will anyone be held responsible?
Because hunger was blamed as the cause of the overcrowding, politicians quickly deflected and chose to make her a scapegoat

showing my displeasure and utmost concern at every chance i get might not be much but it is a good start

are you even aware the stampede happened even before the program start time, how is it those two faults.

can you refer any action of alh. oriyomi or queen adesuwa at the venue that trigger the stampede, was anyone that died directly invited by oriyomi or adesuwa ... whats the link

those that died, died becos of their recklessness, they died cos of their very own actions, people must take responsibility for their misconduct or actions.

In Nigeria if we are not blaming village people we are blaming govt .. we never take responsibility for anything.

What charges have she been arraigned on?
So you mean anyone who is arranged is already guilty according to you?

Her only fault if it's really a fault is trying to do the work Of the government. It's the responsibility of the government to help her citizens to stay alive by providing means of sustenance especially medical and food.

There's poverty written in most Nigerian faces, there is hunger in Nigeria and people are 1000times or more desperate to fight, struggle to get anything called palliatives by the government, NGO or ordinary citizens like Naomi issue.

She did nothing wrong here as far s I know except there's something else the authority aren't telling us.

In this country Nigeria, always be very careful before you help or render a free service to anybody especially a large population of people.

Most Nigerian are very ungrateful people. Even if the event had gone well without any issues. The ungrateful lots called citizens will still come up and say something nasty to the organizers.

Some would say she's using the yearly event to make sacrifice to her gods etc.....

If you are wealthy and you need to help people, go to a church or mosque and donate or go to orphanage or widows association and donate whatsoever. Don't get involved in how they distribute or who they gathered together to give.

Whatever you do as a rich person, let it be between you and your God that you worship.

I am still saying it, most Nigerians are very ungrateful people, always ready to reward good with evil.
God bless u.
