How it works
Players can choose a manager from the 20 Premier League teams and earn points based on their team's wins, draws, goals, and clean sheets. For example, a win earns six points, a draw earns three points, a clean sheet earns two points, and a goal earns one point.

When it's available
The Assistant Manager chip is available from Gameweek 24 in January and can be played at any point in the 2024/25 season.

How to use it
Players can activate the chip and choose their manager without costing a free transfer. However, changing the manager during the three-gameweek period will cost a transfer.

What to consider
Players can only play one chip per gameweek, and they can't use any other chip while the Assistant Manager chip is active. Players must also pay for the manager from their existing transfer budget, and the manager's price ranges from £0.5 million to £1.5 million. The manager also counts towards the three-player-per-team limit.
