I always laugh when I see agreements signed on paper without any implementation plans or execution strategy. What became of the one Buhari signed before that did not yeild anything.
As a foreign trade expert, this would have been a fantastic move if there's a clearing house and settlement bank created for this purpose. The CBN will go to sleep after signing agreements on paper without any clearcut implementation strategy and create further confusion like the one Buhari signed.

To all the zombies celebrating this audio achievement, ask yourself why did it not work under buhari. The answer is that you need to convert a portion of your reserves to yuan by selling dollars to China. So when you sell your dollars to China, China pays you in yuan. So why don't you just pay for goods in dollars.

Aside the risk of trade deficits (cos what's China buying from Nigeria) I don't envisage any risk here🤷🏿‍♀️

I keep saying it that this government still has supporters only on faceless forums like nairaland. The reality out there is that hunger has aligned everybody together against this government, whether I go to a bar to drink, or we are discussing politics in my office or anywhere at all. I am yet to find a single person still supporting APC or Tinubu, it's always curses and abuses that people on the streets use to follow the government and I stay in Lagos which is more of a Yoruba state . So you can imagine how nobody cares about tribe or anything again because of hunger and hardship in the land, it's only here on nairaland that I still find Tinubu supporters who probably are paid 30k monthly to do the dirty job and create multiple accounts on nairaland.
Even the ones here cannot say the nonsense they say here publicly for fear of losing their teeths and eyes by angry and hungry Nigerians out there.
