Half education "Mal-education" is dangerous. Do understand what the statistics is all about?
You should look yourself in the mirror.

The statistics is meaningless for public consumption.
It would have made sense if it was for an academic publication.
But the public, I guess you as well, think it means SE is highest producer of yam,
hence the reaction.

I have seen similar stupid stats released by stati NO sense like "poverty per square mile" for each region when it practically has little
to do with actual poverty rate but the size and population distribution of each region.

If you really understand what the statistics is about, you would understand the reactions against it.

Tomorrow being Monday, yams will still be sold in Zaki Biam market and sent to SE and Port Harcourt, u lots talk too much.
It is only lgb0s that talk about Benue without any idea.
U lots depend on akpu from same state, yam, oranges, even potatoes from same Benue and several other crops, somehow, u are all still deluded that farmers are not going to farm in Benue State.
I'm currently in Benue State, few days ago I was in Makurdi, moving from parts to parts, I will go through Enugu to Anambra to Imo and other parts down to Rivers before returning back to Abuja.

Where is your anger coming from?

You don't have sense

Even in Borno, there are still farmers there and it doesn't change the fact that it's risk

The farm activites has reduced in Benue state unlike before. That's the fact

Are you staying in all parts of Benue?

The guy you quoted, am yet to see the identity that made him Igbo.

Don't allow your emotions control you. Do you know howmany attack and killings that has happened in Benue rural areas this year alone?

That you never met bad or evil people doesn't mean they don't exist. Leave Abuja and relocate to one of the Benue rural area for your farming and stop making noise alaye

I don't understand why you are ranting on something you have little knowledge of you think I'm talking out of hate for benue people which is far from it , I know benue more than you will ever know

Zaki biam is not what it used to be, I'm not saying yams are not sold there, I'm saying not like before when 200 to 300 trailer load of yams left Zaki biam market on a daily basis ,
the late Terwase Akwaza aka GANA who terrorized 3 local government , Katsina ala , ukum and logo destroyed that market they killed alot of traders and traditional chiefs not just in ukum where that market is located but in logo and Katsina ala too , igbo trader who where the major traders in that market some were killed some were kidnapped for ransom most of them relocated to gboko after that, even though GANA was killed by the army his boys are still operating in those areas, alot of soldiers were deployed there those solder's starting shooting young men anyhow accusing them to be members of GANA group or informate , majority of the young men who were great farmers left ukum because of that

Besides that the culture of farming in benue state itself is not like it used to be in the 90s or early 2000s it has changed especially amongst the Tiv young men , most of them prefer to ride okada for a living these days, some of them prefer to travel out of benue to work on other peoples farms or Coco plantations in Yorubaland , Benin or taraba state they sign yearly contracts and are paid at the end of the year, some of them cross into Cameroon by foot from abande in kwande local government

I have no reason to hate benue people, I was born and raised in Tivland in the village , Tiv language is my first language, I speak Tiv more than igbo or English, my mom is Tiv

You know Benue more than me whereas I have part of my roots in Benue?
When I personally have farms in Benue, I do alot of agric business with Benue, you possibly can't know the landscape better than me.
I have been to all 23 Local govt in Benue repeatedly for that matter.
I like the fact that you have started fine tuning your argument, unlike your initial statement that said "...farmers no longer go to farm...", "...Igbo traders no longer go there..."
These were your statements from your reply to someone who said Zaki Biam is still the largest yam market in the world, I replied you based on that not based on "hàtè" theory like u are insinuating.
It has always been known that the Tiv man always travel and return to his farm when the time is due, all what u listed are not new occurrences and the drop in farming in Benue State is not because of insecurity rather lack of capital as farming is becoming more expensive than it was in the 90's and 2000's.

You can't stay here and pretend that Benue is no longer farming when we all know that the SE and part of SS depends heavily on their products to get by.
Traders from different countries like Cameroon, Benin etc still come to buy stuffs from Benue even garri.

If you want to be addressed in a gentle manner, then stop involving whole tribe when replying an individual in a faceless forum.

Other things you typed down here is non of my business. As you attack a whole tribe then be ready for stray bullet.

Direct your anger to the individual next time

As long as benue especially Tivland is concerned you have nothing to tell me, and what ever roots you claim to have there, my roots there are deeper than yours and Everything I said is the situation of what it is

And I say people in Zaki biam no longer go to their farms for fear of being killed in their farm and that's the situation , and the igbo traders no longer go there for fear of being kidnapped or killed most of them now live in gboko they buy yams from other markets that's the situation , if you don't understand what I mean then that's on you

And it has never been in the culture of Tiv people to travel and return to their farms when the time is due like you said, cause they plant , then few weeks after planting they start weeding, no Tiv person will leave his farm without attending to it for 2 weeks , most farm yams , cassava, and groundnut at the same time so no time for breaks

And I repeat the farming culture amongst Tiv people is not as it used to be in the 90s or 2000s like I said young men now prefer to ride okada or travel out of benue to work for the money, all my Tiv cousins that we grew up together left the village for same reason, farming is expensive cause young men don't want to work, those who are willing to work charge alot of money if you want to hire them, back when we were growing up, we had what is called Himbe , Himbe was a practice were young men will come together to help each other work on each others farm for free, people gave out lands to their friends or relatives to cultivate for free , (today you must pay for it ) , so farming was less expensive with such practice

Till today, trucks of food items are leaving Benue for SE and SS including yams from Tiv land.
Coming to taIk sh!.t claiming to have root from Tiv.

You don't even know anything about Tivs yet you claim to have root in Tiv land, you are blabbing.
Right now the Idoma part of idoma is flooded with Tivs who went there to make yam heaps for them, dig wells and other work before they all return to their farms before it rains, someone who claims to have root in Tiv land don't even know this.
Try harder when trying to impersonate a people.

Yes .We’ve seen how beautiful your hairy chested , yam legged and man looking women are .
Ezekwesili has to be the most beautiful female public servant in the history of Nigeria.
They also have abundant testosterone which is usually responsible for the stench that oozes from those women .

What elites chase your women ??
You must be living in dream land .

Were you not the same loser who look like a thing derived from the union of 2 bonobos whose picture was splattered here for defrauding a widow of 5 thousand naira ?

No Yoruba woman would look you twice because you come across like a cretinous clown with poorly developed telencephalon.

Your pay grade are your masculine Amaka , Chinyere etc

There is an Ibo couple on Instagram . They do content creation .
The woman has more hair on her chest than I have on my head and I’m not even bald .
I kept wondering how the guy gets erection because the woman looks more masculine than even the husband .

I’ll try and look for them and post here .

Tivs have been making heaps and digging wells in Idoma side since the 90's and 2000's.
It's something they do with pride because it's their craft.
You probably don't know anything about Tivs, you are just talking that's why you keep fine tuning your stand by going back and forth.
Today, several trailers of yam and several cassava products have left Benue headed to various parts of the countries and the sellers are eating pepper soup and taking beer with part of their return and lgb0s are anticipating the arrival of those trailers, ur noise here won't change that.

Shitty statistics.

Benue state remains the largest producer of yams in Nigeria. Go to mile 12 in Lagos, all the yam dealers got their yams from Benue state. Some even buy and way bill to East.

Highest in production per household? What in the name of shuku okike is that supposed to mean?
U no understand the statistics.

Someone claiming Tivs don't make heaps for idoma in the 90's and 2000's, knowing this is basics for anyone who claim to know Benue.

And I repeat benue is living on past glory, I know what it means to farm in benue especially in Tivland back then, you said you see Tiv in idoma making heaps and digging well, that's not something a Tiv person will be proud of back in the 90s or 2000s but they do it these days, they also travel to work in coco plantations in Yorubaland,or farm in Benin and cross river , these are things that Tiv people won't do back then, Tiv people are very proud people like the igbos, Tiv people today eat akpu and Eba these are food Tiv people never ate in the past they looked at it as food for poor people, in the past before a Tiv man eats akpu they must pound it with sweet potato , to reduce the smell of akpu and make it softer but today they eat it like the igbos do

I don't know what you have in Tivland for you to think you can tell me anything there , I have Tiv blood running in my veins , my grandma named me AKahan after Joseph AKahan, he was the chief of staff to Gowon until he died in an Helicopter crash during the biafran war , when he visited his home town gboko and was returning to Benin , I grew up with my mothers people bearing my grandfather's surname I did change of name after I completed secondary school, I returned to my father's people in Enugu as an adult, I speak little igbo

That's just a brief history of me
Don't waste any time replying that guy. Your story is more grounded than whatever his claims have been so far. Ignore him.
One can see his bias against the SE clearly.

Lol.
How can you give more when you don't even know little?
Someone claiming Tivs don't make heaps for idoma in the 90's and 2000's, knowing this is basics for anyone who claim to know Benue.
Trucks are still leaving Benue today heading for SE, tell me more about straws, can you?
The only thing you have to type now is typing in language but trucks of yam and several agric products are still leaving Benue in their hundreds.
You know more about Tiv but you can't even make a single sentence in Tiv language?

The more you talk the more you expose yourself of the little knowledge you have about Tiv people, let me ask you, do you know Tiv people look down on idoma's as inferiors? , Tiv people in the past never traveled to idomaland for jodo, they do now but never in the past

And who says trucks of yams and other agric products are not leaving benue? I never said anything of such , What is your argument all about? Do you know what it was like in the glory days of Tiv people,on this topic you are arguing about?

He is just looking for something to attack igbos, he is now somehow feeling disappointed learning the fact that I'm half Tiv half igbo
