How old are you? Yorubas didn't vote OBJ in 1999, by 2003 hausas decided he won't get their supports but they wanted Hausa man to takeover after just one term. Yorubas sensed tribalism then, decided to vote along tribal line too and OBJ won.
Fast forward to 2023, Yorubas spread their votes according to parties of their choices (Not tribal based) hence PDP, APC and even that one who is now mocking Yorubas got enough votes to win in Lagos! all won in SW of Yorubas but I bet you if election is conducted today only PDP candidate other than the usual suspect either as a Presidential candidate or VP has a hope of winning in any state international SW.

It's Tinubu we are talking about, not Jonathan or Peter Obi. A man that wọn against all odds, even as an outsider to the office of the President, is he the same man you're wasting your time, projecting won't get a 2nd term, as an incumbent? It's a pity and unfair, but the truth is Igbos should prepare for 2035, while waiting, they should pray that another strong Yoruba politician doesn't emerge at the National stage, before that time, if not, the wailing and waiting will continue.
