naivasha:Yes, I uploaded the valid US visa while completing the application. It is worth stating that this is my 1st application. Also, I've had past refusals from US and UK and all the refusals were declared.Perhaps. thats what delayed the application. |

Ikiloba:I am a little bit confused about this free SIM card you were talking about. Please, which of the Canadian airports give free SIM cards? I have entered Canada on many occasions through their major airports, and I have never in any of my trips been offered or given any free SIM cards. |

| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by orjohn24: 9:39am On Dec 28, 2024 |
Trueigbo:You have 30 days to submit your passport for visa stamping, and with the new rule, it is not 100% guaranteed that you will get a 10-year visa until the end of your passport's validity, as the visa officer can still decide otherwise. |

Pls how do you resolve issues with the VFS website? For purpose of booking biometrics I’m unable to even create account. Error all the time . Generates its own password and other issues. Is this the norm?? |

Hello house. Please is there a timeframe for passport collection at the vfs office Abuja. A friend of mine submitted her passport for her Canadian visa stamping at the vfs office Abuja some days back. She didn’t pay for courier because her office is very close to the vfs office (5 mins walk) and she planned on going in person to pickup when it’s ready. She had an emergency that took her out of Abuja yesterday and this morning, she got a text from VFS saying her passport is ready for collection. She wants to know if she can pickup the passport when she returns to Abuja by mid January. |

Hoelujohn:Bros, that's business sense. You can buy items to resell or use them. One of the most affordable ways to acquire inexpensive household appliances or real estate properties is by purchasing from individuals who are desperate in need of cash and have any visa to travel outside Nigeria. They can offer you items at significantly lower prices, especially those travelling to Canada and UK with family . |

Hello People, I need clarification on some issues. I applied for Visitor's visa to go write a professional licencing exam in Canada early in the year and I was rejected due to funds and all that. My sister is will to assist me with more funds, however I do not know how to present this. Is it better she states she is sponsoring a part of my trip or she sends the money to my domiciliary account. Which could be more convincing to a VO. |

| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by amnotapervert(m): 12:18am On Jan 01, 2025 |
PrincessAdelia:So sorry about the refusal Sometimes, it might not just be about money; technicalities might also be involved. Someone should correct me if I am wrong 1. If it's your biological sister (same parents) and you share the same surname (or if her name has changed due to marriage), you will need to show proof of your relationship. 2. If she is a PR (Permanent Resident) or Canadian citizen she should provide her details, showing that she is your sponsor. She must also state that she will be responsible for ensuring you return home. This includes submitting proof of her account balance, occupation, and any other supporting documents to show she is financially sponsoring you for the professional exam. 3. If the professional exam requires a refundable fee deposit pending your visa application contact the body in charge of the exam. Inform them of your situation and explain if a refund can be gotten if visa isn't issued then if so pay the fee. 4. With the funds you have, explain in detail how you will manage your stay - For example, if you plan to stay for seven days, mention that you will be staying with your sister. - Ensure your sister provides proof of her lease agreement or homeownership, confirming that she will cover your housing. - Make sure the exam center and your sister's residence are in the same city. 5. Explain how much you will spend on feeding and other expenses. 6. If your sister is not a PR or citizen, it might be more challenging to establish your case. 7. Explain why you need to take the exam in Canada. They will want to know why the exam cannot be written in another country. 8. Even if you have over $15,000 CAD in your account, whether gifted by your sister or saved personally, unresolved issues can still lead to complications. 9. Your account balance will show a large amount one time in your account and you would need to explain where the money comes from. The deposit has to make sense with the amount of money you make so in my options your sister saying she is sponsoring your exam plus your saving is a better bet But you have to resolve the technicalty But please someone can correct me if I am wrong IRCC can be very strict in their assessments. Finally, don’t forget to pray and prepare thoroughly. 🙏🏾 |

PrincessAdelia:Which professional exam is that? Firstly, please note that you are applying for a Canada visit visa at a time when Canada is very strict due to the high number of asylum seekers, and many have used similar stories to obtain visas only to claim asylum. You are applying for a visit visa, and the visa officer may not consider it essential travel, such as visiting family or studying in Canada, especially as a new traveler. Seeking sponsorship to fund a visit visa might not make sense to the visa officer. Also, is your sister a Canadian resident? |
