I have met single Nigerian men work 62 hours ever damn week
Week in, week out, nonstop

We don't even hang out anymore cos they are always working
And trust me, they are saving way more than £500quid
as much as this country has its issues
one thing I can't deny is that if you are ready to throw your hat in the ring, to work and sacrifice, with time, u go make am way more than Nigeria would have ever given you the opportunity to, especially if you are from the lower end of the the Nigerian society

If u are in the Elumelu/Okoya bracket
I'll understand why u won't bother with this hustle life
But someone earning 400k-500k in one corner scoffing at the UK is fooling himself

Even with extra shift, many cannot save that 500, you'll need to have a partner, both of you must be working in order to even dream of saving consistently with that low of a wage. Single guys rarely hustle that hard, time for clubbing and chasing girls would surely cut into the work hours and believe me 60+ hours per week, sooner or later engine go knock.......So many guys under 30 passed away in the UK recently from sheer exhaustion and heart issues........SUPERMAN only exists in comics

In fact, I know one (a good buddy of mine) that do 12 hrs 4/4 (thats 48 hrs weekly already) plus SIA jobs in the 4 days off

I'm a software engineer. I'm not bound by geography. I'm a Digital Explorer. I've been working for ICT companies in the Baltic states for the past two years. To God be the glory, I can always get foreign jobs that'll pay me well enough to live better than someone earning 40k annually in the UK.

If u use your sense and mix the non brands with the brands and sensible grocery shopping at Morrisons, there will be so much to carry home

Imagine you are the regional head in some banks

Imagine how much you will be paid per month

You can earn as far as 20-25m naira monthly.

So stop saying a cleaner abroad is earning more than a bank manager.they dont

The top 1% in management positions earn that in Nigeria.

Even in the US, the top 1% earn 10k per month
