In his inaugural address, His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah eloquently articulated his vision for Enugu State, emphasizing the need to revitalize the state's tourism sector. Adada River, with its unique charm and allure, awaits our discovery and presents a compelling opportunity for the vision of our dear governor to unlock Enugu State Tourism Potential.

As we embark on this transformative journey, we are lucky to find ourselves at the confluence of opportunity, vision, and an actionable plan. The development of a world-class resort in Adada River will be a game-changer. This high-end tourist destination will offer exceptional facilities, services, and experiences that meet international standards of quality, luxury, and excellence.

By doing so, the Enugu State government can create a more balanced and sustainable triumvirate of prosperity, comprising economic growth, cultural revival, and environmental sustainability. The resort, when completed, will be a masterpiece of modern architecture, rising from the banks of the ancient Adada River like a phoenix, casting a golden glow of prosperity over the surrounding landscape.

As a catalyst for economic growth, the resort will attract a diverse array of visitors, from discerning tourists to corporate executives, including academia, all seeking to experience the natural setting. This iconic destination will showcase Enugu State's rich cultural heritage and traditions to a global audience, offering an immersive experience of the state's unique charm and natural beauty.

Notably, the ongoing dam project by the Federal Ministry of Water Resources in Adada River, which upon completion, will provide potable water, electricity, and irrigation for agricultural activities. This initiative will undoubtedly complement the resort project, creating a holistic ecosystem that showcases the best of Enugu State.

As Enugu State stands at the threshold of unprecedented transformation under the administration of His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Adada River resort project harnesses the power of tourism to drive economic growth, cultural preservation, and environmental sustainability. This visionary project is not just a development initiative, but a legacy that will empower future generations, foster community pride, and solidify Enugu State's position as a premier tourist destination.

Maybe Nigerian tourists. Because with the daily insecurity news, I doubt any foreigner would risk being kidnapped in Nigeria in the name of tourism

South Africa is one of the most ûñsafe countries in the world, way ûñsafe than Nigeria yet they have tourists.
Build ur tourism and people will come provided you are not fighting war in ur country.
But the average Nigerian always project negativity in everything like u just did.

So they have been kidnapping South African travelers and villagers and holding them hostage until ransoms are paid? I didn't know oooo. Tell me something. Don't worry, tourists would soon abandon South Africa and troop to Nigeria

They don't hold them till ransom are paid in South Africa, 95% of the time they are kiIIed and their bodies dvmped, it's a common occurrence in South Africa, that's why it's ranked in top 10 most ûñsàfe countries in world.
If u have any sense of understanding, u will understand that I'm talking about us boosting the tourism sector by building necessary infrastructures and services around tourist attractions and increase our advert in that aspect, that's what I'm saying, whatever you understood to make you say "Tell me something. Don't worry, tourists would soon abandon South Africa and troop to Nigeria", shows u are really daft.

Nigerians always make 'tourism resorts' that are not catered to Nigerian tastes.
But they don't know how to identify their own personal tastes and capitalize on it. This is how they wasted people's money on that useless obudu ranch like somebody wants to pay to enter bush and see hausa cow.

Obudu cattle ranch was and still is a good idea! And Donald Duke put the right things in place for it to grow organically! But a lot of things have to change for Cross River in particular and Nigeria in general fot it to succeed as a tourist destination both locally and internationally! Same thing applies to Tinapa.

We all remember pics of how Obudu ranch was thriving as a holiday destination when Duke was governor! We used to see pics of holiday makers enjoying themselves. The nosedive in the fortunes of Obudu coincided with the downturn in all socio-economic and safety indices of Nigeria as a whole, and the poor management of the destination by subsequent Cross River governors didn’t help!

Nigerian politics needs to keep attracting creative governors like Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu. That's the only way we harness Nigeria's potential and build her wealth. Peter Mbah is by far the best governor of the class of 2023.

Take a look at what this man has done in less than two years. Some of us will realise that we don't have a governor after watching this video.

What I mean is that despite the so called millions we spend to build the infrastructures to boost tourism, foreigners haven't been coming. But you compared a saner South Africa to Nigeria where even villagers are taxed so as to raise money to settle bandits and kidnappers. while you would be holding your breath while traveling because those men can easily come out of the bush and take you. So first sort insecurity problems before investing in white elephant projects

First and foremost, we haven't spent any millions on tourism, we basically let our tourist attractions sight rot, that's what is kiIIing our tourism not insecurity, if South Africa where single mothers sleeping in their homes are not safe can have tourists, then we can, the difference between us and them is because they have infrastructures and services around tourist attractions unlike us where places like Yankari game reserves, Ikogosi spring, the beach in Akwa Ibom, the hills of Enugu, cattle ranch in Calabar etc have poor services.
The problem is poor services and infrastructures not security, try rest.
If South Africans see u calling their country sane country, they wiII know u are really daft.
Every sh!.t happening in Nigeria happens in South Africa, even in ur house, u are not safe in South Africa from village to cities, leaving your home in the early hours of the day is a huge risk in SA yet tourists go there.
I know you haven't travelled before to see things for yourself, it was folks like u who were projecting Ghana that they had 10 years of no blackout whereas they were battling with electricity issues, now you have started with South Africa.

Yesterday, someone who returned from Portugal was Iying to a group of young men that there's abundant job in Portugal whereas the reality is that Portuguese are leaving their country in search of jobs and better life in other countries in Europe.

If not for Insecurity, Nigeria would have one of the top tourist destination and we don't even need the govt assistance in terms of money just security and still they can do shit.
Gambia n Senegal with less infrastructure is doing better than us in terms of tourism.

Go ahead, you are doing a good job. But remember you were the first to mention South Africa, not me. So go ahead and continue with your tourism development. I wish you well

I brought up South Africa for reference.
If it's my tourism and basically has nothing to do with you.
Why so bothered about it?

Nigeria is still far from been a destinaton for tourism. There is no infrastructure on the ground to support it like good road network, modern transport system, rail and metro network and security.
