The truth is that things are too cheap in Nigeria and that hinders us to live a standard life.

What is our major problem is earning potential.

Assume the least of us lets say a cleaner earns minimum 200k

A clerk earns 250k

A diploma holder earns 300k

A degree or HND holder earns 400k to 500k

A Masters holder 600k and PhD holder 800k to a 1m

You will see the complaints will be less. Now for us to get there, cost of things too has to rise so that the profit people (traders) get from their biz too will match up new minimum wage.

The truth is we have been a very poor country but deceiving ourselves with subsidy from govt and that is why a man earning 30k can have six children and still boast na God dey survive me. Now that we have the reality we will have to adjust our life.

If u earn 200k per month, u have no biz having a car or drinking more than 2 beer bottles per month. Guys adjust your life, even abroad they dont live wasteful and lavish life that yoiu can afford to give a man (pastor) one full month salary as first fruit...u cant try that abroad but because of cheap life we do nonesense here. Tinubu has come to correct that abnormally. Its time to adjust to realities of life.

Nigerians just like begging with no shame; if he had that many cars, why not go into the transport business?

I sold my two cars and now I can't even pay my house rent and the landlord has equally increased the rent to 500k/anum

Tinubu is an evil fashioned against honest hardworking Nigerians
You have two cars, why sell them when you can use them in the transport business.

You want Tinubu to continue paying $10-20 billion annually to support fuel subsidies

Nigeria's NNPC spent $10 billion on fuel subsidy in 2022

What is the nature of your friend's business? Apparently he was into business that made easy money. Now no more free money. Now you got to live according to your productivity.

The days of one average man having three cars are gone. The days of graduate entrants in the banking sector buying a V6 car as first car are gone.

I have people today giving testimonies in the church that this year is their best for a long time. What these people do are ordinary little businesses. It not as terrible as it's painted. Certainly the days of easy and quick money are gone.

They would tell you ( when they get there, they will do it and still loot small monies and I confronted them about the looting mentality -- is it a must, they said No, they just want to have their fair-share of the national cake)...

%95 of Nigerians are so corrupt which is ridiculous by the way.
Re: My Rich Friend Sold All His Cars Because Of Hardship - Tinubu Loyalist Laments by Adakintroy: 5:00am On Dec 30, 2024
If you sell all your cars because of hardship chances are you were never a business man.
A business man anticipate all season good or bad. They dont just stand around for the good only. A true business man is a man for al season. He is known mostly how he handles the bad than the good.

You know this is not fair to him. Looks like you were just waiting for any slight excuse to use against him, not like you really liked him before

Things are hard under Tinubu due to his anti masses economic policies but people like this one in the post refused to change their lifestyles and adapt to the new reality. That's why it hit him harder. I increased my savings under Tinubu just to keep up with my investments drive because I realised his mission was to share poverty and plunge majority of Nigerians into abject poverty which seems working so far.

Welcome to the fold. I have come to this realization long time ago when I was scammed by a Nigerian who was born and grew in the UK, never lived in Nigeria and the worst, she was a family friend. I list $4000 and since then, I do not trust our people again.

I just concluded a business dealing with a guy I had never seen. He called on a phone and requested for my service. Total cost was $2500 and he pleaded to pay $1500 upfront and the rest will be a monthly installments of $500.

Thos was a Somalian Muslim guy whom whom I have never met and he kept to his word and, paid me in full.

Them nor born me well to try the same with my fellow country men.
