The Odili's rescued my political career. When I wanted to run for second term as Chairman of council, they removed my name and I ran to Government house.

When I got there, I saw his wife, and I said ma, I'm finished and she said what happened, I told they her they removed my name for second term. Immediately she took me to Dr Peter Odili, the then Governor of Rivers State.

Odili called Secondus, who was the State party Chairman then. He was just leaving Government house and he ordered him to return and he did, and my name was reinstated.
