You and your father should contribute by doing the ones you mentioned. For now thanks to Zenith bank
We do our best. You don't know this yet because we don't advertise. But not to worry, the next set will be forced to go to the markets and radio stations to announce our good deeds.

Better yet, getting them to put on T shirts with our faces on them for several months may just do the trick. Imagine the good publicity that will bring. Thanks

As part of their corporate social responsibility, Zentih bank has designed the popular Ahmadu bello way round about in Jos. What do you think guys? The shopping plaza in front of the roundabout you're seeing is owned by Rochas Okorocha
Nothing special here...go north, kd, kano...you go see beautiful roundabout

Not sure of the message that you are trying to convey but I don't need to go to a business school to understand the meaning of CSR. A quick search on google or these days AI is sufficient. I suggest you do the same. Cheers
The same misconception you see on google search is the reason you are mixing it up. Ask corporate people who brought it to us. Giving back to the society is not CSR. I repeat: it not CSR building edifice in the community where a company operates. That’s just Father Christmas.

You can’t know CSR than the Oyibos that brought it to us.

I can send you loads of standards on this, if you would have time to read at all because you ealy consume whatever you see on google as authentic.

If you are still in doubt, ask friends and families who work in better companies and are well knowledgeable.

AI is not 100% correct. That’s why the inventor always says you should not rely on it. AI is picking from gibberish people like you put on the internet and use it to answer questions.

Go to better school. They won’t listen.

This is beginning to get incredibly silly. Read the original post carefully, it was tagged as corporate social responsibility. The best search engine and AI, both of which are world renowned, have also tagged this as corporate social responsibility.

In fact, the only dissenting opinion is you, and your so-called 'families and friends that work in better companies'. I truly detest engaging with narrow-minded individuals who resort to rhetorics and half-baked insults to make a point but I will indulge you.

Since you claim to be well-versed on this subject matter, kindly provide a web link that supports your perspective on what CSR truly means. If you cannot do this, my advice is to preach your nonsense to your own choir.

The best AI is still a fo0!, since it’s a text AI. Get enlightened! Text AI is like a scavenger. It picks whatever it feels relevant to any question you throw at it. If you don’t guide AI well to your exact need, it won’t give you any accurate answers.

It’s picking from several incorrect infos people would have put on the internet. AI doesn’t have a brain of its own.

Read this, for a start:
https://www.dentons.com/-/media/PDFs/Issues%20and%20Opportunities/ESG/A%20Guide%20to%20ESG%20Standards%20and%20Frameworks.pdf

CSR/ESG is a complete course I wrote a full thesis on at a business school in Europe comparing CSR of BAYER, MERCK, and BASF - all of pharma and chemical companies.
I made the same silly mistake you made, I have made it in the midst of the inventors of CSR and they have corrected me.
My thesis was moderated at Buckingham University.

Go back online and read about Codes of Standards that companies must follow because I have to send them to you, you can’t even finish one code in one month.

You have effectively said nothing. The link doesn't work and I need the link to the code of standards.

You see, the more you talk, the more I think that you are a fraud. Calling names of universities, thesis and what not means nothing to me since I am not even in your field. You have consistently failed to educate me on what CSR. Perhaps the links will explain better

Add this to it:
https://www.stukinternational.fi/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/code-of-corporate-social-responsibility.pdf

That’s a CSR report of a company in the UK.

Try and show me where they are talking about what they did for their community.

You won’t see it there. We have been ‘bamboozed’ with wrong info and we never bordered to check it.

So I have gone through this. Kindly confirm is this is correct according to the document

"When performing project activities, the company aims to contribute to promoting and supporting wellbeing, equality and democratic practices and values in the country of operation"

Whatever standards you want on CSR, get it here:
https://www.globalreporting.org/standards/

I will also send you a screenshot of my assignment on it where I tested 2 companies before I was asked to increase it to 3 in my final thesis.

If you have email address, give it to me and I will send you the excel file I used in testing so many CSR standards that those companies I tested said they complied with.

My laptop crashed ( I can show you proof of where I fixed it with receipt), I would have shown you the whole thesis on those 3 companies about CSR.

We were taught the most outdated things in Nigerian education system.

"When performing project activities, the company aims to contribute to promoting and supporting wellbeing, equality and democratic practices and values in the country of operation"
It was talking about places/countries where their staff are recruited (demography). Well-being is about the health of their staff. Equality is maintained among staff. And they uphold values (e.g cultural) of the countries where they operate.e.g. If they operate in India and India celebrates Diwali, the company cannot bar its staff to celebrate it or it cannot bar staff from going on holiday for such celebration of their national government has declared such holiday.

You can never see where CRS says you should give back to the environment where you operate. You can online be conscious of such environment and make sure you don’t disrupt it.

The kind of CSR we practice here is a marketing gimmick and for people to have empathy for our company and brands so that we can sell more and for consumer to see our competitors as bad brands.

For instance, if Mikano is building police shed where traffic officers can stay on a sunny day in traffic (it’s not CSR) and Cummings does not build such shed, it doesn’t mean Cummings os not a responsible company.

Seeing Mikano logo and brand all over our road intersection draw empathy on them as a good company. It helps them market, freely, without paying signage fee of those sheds. People think or consider buying their products firstly before considering other competitors.
