Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinunu and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila has disclosed that local government elections will not be conducted in the Lagos state’s 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in 2025.

Gbajabiamila disclosed this on Saturday while addressing the general assembly of the All Progressives Congress (APC)  in Surulere at the Indoor Hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere 

He said the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), the highest decision-making body of the party in the state has approved the new arrangement.

He noted the 37 LCDAs will co-exist under the new arrangement to be released by the party.

He also spoke about his rumoured governorship ambition.

Tinubu and his goons disobeyed the constitution and a supreme court judgement over LCDAs in Lagos for 25 years which was essentially why OBJ withheld LG allocations.
Same Tinubu is now singing a different tune because he's now In power. Suddenly LCDAs are illegal and are to be scraped.
Meanwhile some other states have copied LCDA model since then. Will they also be required to scrap theirs or not?
Tinubu has been the most bitter, resentful and hateful politician Nigeria has had since 1999. Once he or northerners are not in office, he goes rogue against southern politicians instigating rebellion and confrontations with no regard for sportsmanship or legality.
