Four members of State assembly only exists in Rivers State,the remaining assembly members are not in existence in relation to their defections from PDP to another party. Thank God one of the top PDP leader in Abuja supporting illegality has been stacked by court. Let the new PDP national secretary write to INEC that the 26 law breakers are not more member of PDP

This is why we need STRONG INSTITUTIONS, rather than strong men; strong institutions that are not affected by the greed and negative influence of politicians.
If the judiciary is strong and devoid of external influences, the issue of the defection would have long been addressed, and INEC as an institution would have conducted elections to fill up the vacant seats, and the wheel of governance would not have to be affected by the mistakes of these 27 men.
But as long as we keep deceiving ourselves all in the name of politics, stuffs like this will keep popping up.

The Rivers case is not as simple as ramming the gavel on the gavel stone and pronouncing a judgement.

Whatever judgement that hitherto emanates from that Supreme court has to be carefully decided with the yearnings of the Rivers indigenes as the focal point.

Anything short of that, is going to ignite chaos in the state which would most certainly reverberate to the National center.
