Disclaimer:

I am a proud christian that believes in God.

Since they both rely on absolute statements hinting that because God commanded it so then it is absolutely good.

I brought up other instances of God which also commanded their followers and thus does that make their actions absolutely good?

So if he alludes to the bible as a basis of absolute proof for an absolutely good action then other texts can be likewise used!!!

Hence in order for him to continue using the bible as a statement of fact he must recant his original "absolute statement" as it is self contradictory.

He is also hinted at the instances of "God's word in the bible as a source of absolute proof" without empirical methods for deriving or proving if all of what in the bible were God's word.

His standard of absolutism negates his personal bias!!!

And if you can use that then what stops other scriptures 👀 from being used.

Hence live by the standard you have set.

As a consequence, his initial premise is indeed not a valid absolute statement!!!
