A sane and flourishing community isn’t only built by the government but through the collective efforts of the government and the citizens. Making Nigeria great isn’t the sole responsibility of the government. We all have role to play.
Please stop this nonsense talk, where is the conducive environment for the citizens to even contribute their own quota. You all sound disgusting with this nonsense of we all have a role to play blah blah blah. When bigotry takes the mind of the citizens how would you expect changes? The leaders keep polarizing the citizens with false narratives what role do you expect them to play?

When the citizens see that there's rule of law to check mate the leaders they will mirror them, it's as clear as day and night. So please stop all these nonsense talk

Dam Dam is now one of the lucky youth to escape this painful country, wish I had put all the money I had this year into Japa, maybe I would have been in Canada, US, or UK by now... went from having millions to being broke in a year due to naira devaluation and inflation issues.

I trust and know that God will make a way for me, as He's already doing. And 2025 will surely be a better year for me.

Nigeria's humongous problems na turn by turn.
In the 70s, Fela's generation hoped e go better. For where?
Austerity measures in the 80s weren't any better.
Japa syndrome got serious in the 90s.
In 2024/25, after all the wasted "e go better", everything turned from bad to worse.

Guess what? Many people are still reserving the hopelessness for their generation unborn. Nobody to blame here. It is genetic---they are carrying on the cowardice inherited from their grandparents.

Nigeria should keep on subsidising workforce for the whole world, especially medical students by giving them almost free education.
This people dont know what government does for them, yet they are the first to condenm and criticise.

Government should stop funding tertiary institutions and focus on primary, Secondary, technical and vocational studies , which is the bedrock of any society.
This is what I've been saying.
Medical students finish school cheaply compared to their counterparts abroad who have to rely on student loans and have to start their careers with paying off these loans and still paying lots of taxes but our people are quick to compare the remunerations and castigate the govt.

If a medical student finishes from the public University, they should be made to spend at least 5 years in Nigeria before they can be allowed to travel out.

Either this or subsidy should be removed from medical courses in public Universities.
Let them either go to Private Universities or pay the actual price or use student loan like their counterparts abroad.

Guy everybody's education by that argument is almost free. We are only aware of the doctors who are leaving.

Nurses pharmacist radiographers the worst are science lab technicians those guys are exiting the country at an alarming rate once they know what they are doing.

IT nko did you forget the losses by most banks some years back.

Nobody can say you must stay back. The nurses are still having that issue now about 2years service after graduation. Just 2 years oh.

Who will suffer it if people can no longer go on to study as medical doctors?

What's there to love in a corrupt country?? Where graduates from poor backgrounds can't have access to legitimate jobs because of impunity and corruption

But why are they leaving?

Is the new administration not favoring them and their families anymore?

It is so much display of wickedness on their part If after voting for Balablue, they now decide to abandon the rest of us in the stew

That's not cool at all

We all must discover that town hall at the same time

Every nigerian course is cheap compared to the overseas counterpart . So every public university graduate should be made to work at least 5 years not just doctors

Let the government do what they are supposed to do first. Most of these medical professionals have spent at least 2 years (internship + NYSC) in Nigeria before leaving.

Tell the government to provide jobs, improve working conditions, attractive renumeration and stabilize other social amenities. You would be surprised how more people will stay back.

You want people to keep wallowing in poverty and mediocrity all in the name of "staying back in Nigeria"

- No oo! Close all schools let everyone educate themselves at home! The politicians and their hangons who are educating their children abroad with stolen government funds are more human than others. Instead of you to hold your so-called government to account, you're here advocating nonsense. What's the point of a government, if not to make life easier for the citizens and residents.

- You, Nigerians are not serious human beings. SMH.

There are one way tickets to all destinations, the only condition is you having right of residence at your destination,

if you have only a visiting visa of your destination country, no Airline will sell you a one way ticket.

Like I said continue subsidising education and graduates for the rest of the world.
